GAMEDAY: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Yea but I'm liking our intensity. As many as they have missed, I reckon we have fumbled away just as many. Do I'm not stoked but if we keep this pressure up it will go a long way to getting three wins in a row and a season back on track. Need much more from Sparrow and Kozzie.

Spargo, Sharp or Culley???????
I love Spargo. May not be the most skilled footballer about but I reckon is one of the hardest workers about. He's a vertically challenged player and not an axe handle in the very old language. I imagine he's had to work much harder than most because of his size. Despite this he is a bonafide premiership player and no criticism here can ever take that from the bloke. Also, lets not forget, he pretty much has not played for two years due to some fairly demoralizing injuries. On song, he is despite my opening salvo, quite skilled. His kick to Kozzie in the third that created a goal is a perfect eg of this. But again he works his but off....chases and tackles non stop. There are a couple....one up fwd who I'm sure we all know who I'm talking about who is just one of those naturally gifted players but doesn't apply himself, I believe, as much as Spargo. Just saying. And for the life of me I don't know why I keep saying ,"just saying" after most of my posts and personal texts. Just saying.

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Will be tough but win this and I feel we may just have our season back on track. Here's hoping A lot resting on Fritta, Petty and Kozzie. But that last name makes such a difference.

Spargo, Sharp or Culley???????
Easy...Spartacus. Let's not forget he had a year not playing.

Time to go easy on Fritsch
Or we just sing their praises no matter how poorly they play and lose every game. Let's just change the name to Demonloveshack. Fritta needs a good reminder that he needs to apply more pressure. Zero tackles in today's game is unacceptable no matter who you are. I love the bloke but he's in one hell of a form slump and one way to get out of them or at least try is to tackle and chase your guts out.

Time to go easy on Fritsch
Interesting post and maybe there is some merit in it. Perhaps he is entitled a little more understanding. The problem for me is last year way before the arrival of this bubba ( great luck to them all) was Frittas lack of tackling them. And yesterday while he kicked two good sausages he failed to lay a single tackle compared to JV who managed 15. So there's that.

NON-MFC: Round 07
By God I hate supporting Essendon. Why can't this be a traditional Swans v Lion game?

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
I'm not complaining about the win. Loved it. Big occasion too. But we had almost 100 possessions more and our final quarter forced open a bottle of bourbon.

Fair call. I think we just put the pool stick back in the rack. Almost dangerously too.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Our fwd line looked and was very competitive for almost 3 quarters. It folded in the last. Maybe fatigue but Tigers played last Saturday as well. Great to see Fritta kick two valuable goals but he laid a total of zero tackles. Is this STA correct? And if so why? Viney amassed 15. Is Fritta under instructions not to tackle? I doubt it but so I'll simply state that stat is pretty poor and has been an issue for some time. Last week and early in yesterday's game our pressure was way up everywhere. Fritta please pick it up. Well done with the goal kicking

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Is it mathematically possible that a win in round one in a very tight game v Gws could have seen us with other permutations allow us to be in the top 8 and if so wth?
