Synth pop went out of style so I'm glad he was able to find another vocation

Apparently some coaches who can't win games of footy don't rate him. Are they just trying to brighten our weekend? GO DEMONS!!!!

I am just like King. Injured and not playing AFL footy. (unless you mean the OTHER King ...) You never like to see good players get injured. Then you see it's Essendon and are forced to re-evaluate your whole life.

Well? Are you going to keep us in suspense? Bowey 1 Buckley 0 Go "David" GO DEMONS!!!

Tigers running on pride. Something GWS have none of. Only a matter of time before the Tigers' engine starts coughing and spluttering. A real team, smelling blood, would have put them to the sword. That includes Collingwood, Suns, and Hawks.

In going back to Perth, he retreated into his comfort zone. Not a good life move for anyone.

Yes. Plus the club is in a different place to when eg Jesse Hogan's body language -- every scratch of the bum cheek -- was analysed to death for clues.

♪ Oh, I'm 'Enery the Eight, I am! ♫ The singer was actually a drummer. The drummer was actually an actor. The bass guitarist was really a guitarist and better on that instrument than the lead guitarist who was trained on bass, and who really wanted to be a songwriter. Strange band in many ways. Anyway, back to what they're saying right now at Carrara: "SH*T!!!!"

Is that Max Gawn playing for the Lions?

Essendon need one of my harshly worded posts. They're not getting one!

The Bumbers' big statement has fizzled out before half time. Damn shame.

My stinging words have provoked them into action.

Lions look slow and soft and are playing from behind

How important is luck in influencing a result?

They say Hitler was only singly corrected, so you can't be too badly off. (According to internet forum rules, I have now lost this thread.) -

So if I were to tell you that Albert didn't actually write that song, what kind of correct does that make me? Bent needle correct, that's what. -
THAT'S A BIT BLOODY PERSONAL ISN'T IT??? Oh .... you mean a helmet. Carry on.

Well it stands to reason. Luck more likely to stand out in a close game, and a low scoring game is more likely to be close than a high scoring one. Lyon, being a dour coach who would win games with 10 goals for (our defence thinks 10 goals against is a satisfactory result!) is therefore more likely to suffer, or benefit, from luck. What is luck in Aussie Rules anyway? With an oval ball and 360 degree movement, all kinds of crazy things happen constantly. Mostly forgotten by the final siren, unless it happens in the last two minutes. Score lots and you're subject to a lot less "luck", be it good or bad. GO DEMONS!!! -
A close relative of mine, a doctor, says wear your bicycle helmet. Even a small absorption of impact shock can mean the difference between dead and not dead.

Come to think of it, Libba senior was more like A the G. Short, with a propensity to kill & maim every [censored] who got in his way.
