Well done everyone, however I fell the results may have been a little different if Deanox had of changed his avatar a couple of days earlier. (Also, isn't Juddy Christ's avatar from Dogma?)
Our biggest competition in securing Juddy is Collingwood. Not just because of their facilities and wealth but because of the backing of Eddie and Channel 9 and what they can offer Judd past his footballing career and what they can also offer his partner. With this in mind I'm amazed that Ian Johnson's involvement with our pitch has gone unnoticed by so many people, what it bascially means is that in terms of what Eddie can offer we can easily match.
Also, I'm hearing alot of rumours from different sources who aren't Melbourne fans that claim to have access to Juddy (phew!) that Melbourne is his preferred choice - no idea if true but in the style of the fat man who used to be on tv selling washing maching powder - I'M EXCITED!!
There are many players I'd trade pick 4 for, some examples are:
Judd, Kerr, Cox, Pavlich, Burgoyne, Pendlbury, Jon Brown, Buddy Franklin, Hodge, Foley, T.Cloke etc
But only Judd is available
Not quite (I hope ), I was born in the early 70's but I've always been a fan of Alves and I heard him talk about when he left Melbourne on SEN once, I do remember the Saplding trade though, who did we get with the draft pick, was it Jason Norrish?
Our club is full of stories that continue to amaze me, two that come to mind was when we traded Earl Spalding and the series of events that led to Stan Alves leaving the club. So completely unnecessary.
Hi guys, sorry a little late with this one, this week is the best avatar award. Format the same as last week please.

Good luck everyone!!
Sorry DS, had a very busy day, the next one will be up in 5 mins.
Once again well done to YM, and to give the guys here on demonland who don't visit bigfooty an insight into what he is capable of my favourite YM moment was when he had half of the Bigfooty community believing that he was going to be drafted a couple of years ago. He set a standard that others like Zeke tried to imitate for years afterwards and they still talk about him over there from time to time....
Let's say two players are drafted from the same U/18's team, one gets picked up by the Kangaroos, the other goes to Melbourne. The deluded amongst us would have us believe that as soon as the new Kangaroos players enters the worn out premises of Arden Street then they are suddenly enhanced with the 'magical' powers of the Shinboner Spirit, passed on through the ages by past and present Kangaroos players while the new Melbourne lad will inherit the main bedroom at the lodge in Falls creek.....blah blah blah.
What a crock of [censored]. In reality the simple difference between some teams is the leadership of their senior players, right now the Roos have some very fine senior leaders, but it has nothing to do with any shinboner spirit nonsense. Melbourne on the other hand have very few leaders, and it's the reason why we've failed dismally recently when it's counted most.
What complete nonsense.
Reread the first post in the thread, you've just proved Ash correct by pointing out someone in the media pumping up the myth. Interesting though that you failed to answer my questions - What happened to the shinboner spirit last week? Did it have a holiday?
