Yesterday headed down to TBO, A solid 37 point win by the zebras. Of the dees players Jamar did well in the ruck, Was ok around the ground as well, played against Rix. Meeson - was called the new nico by a supporter, but was ok Maaric- was great kicked 3 was lively and gutsy. very small but quality. Will nudge davey out of the side a little further down the year!!! Aussie cant spell his last name! Was ok, in and out of the game, snagged a good goal. Rivers and whelan were both very good, looked fit and both will be back next week. Rivers hands were good. Yze - looked a class above everyone else, but a times was a little to cute with some things. Valenti, turns the ball over a bit, should try to be more of a jake king than a judd. Be in and under and give of the hands to yze and johnson than doing it himself. C Johnson - his last year on the list i think, gets a lot of it, can be damaging but turns it over a lot. Warnock was average. Martin was used down back, at first when we drafted him i was shocked really, but he was pretty good down back, spoiled well and took some good grabs!

dunn is a good as useless, never been a big fan of him, to small to play kpp, to slow to be a midfielder and just to dumb and selfish to play anywhere else! eg, no giving the ball back and conceding a 50 metre penalty because his man was running of! and also why was he and jace bode walking around at sandy as if they were heroes! Complete wankers if you ask me!

Three players to put a line through and never to play again, Weetra - a disgrace! he is horrible, trips over is own feet. He was on the verge of getting dropped from sandy 2's! Does mark williams have any input? Bode - another shocker! do i really need to explain? Dunn! - is soft, lost, selfish. No footy smarts.

He was sandy's most creative forward as well. Looks like a good player. Should get a chance in the next few weeks. With newton not able to impose himself on a game yet, looks a fair way off at the moment.

After not seeing the game but watching the three previous i think jeff white needs to lift. For years people and fans have critised tj, being a no 1 dtaft pick and all his potential and so on. But white always escapes this. He is very soft for a guy his size. Never imposes himself on the game. Doesn't kick enough goals. Doesn't take strong marks around the ground, occasionaly tries a big specky. Shocking disposal (eg turnover against geelong) I hear a lot of put downs to jamar and pj, i would prefer grooming both of them over white. More physical and they have a crack!!

I skipped the melbourne game to watch sandy, very good option i think. A very good win by sandy. A little disappointed with the melbourne listed players. Although, fergurson was great, pettard played well and hughes kicked a couple of goals (not warnock as stated in the herald sun!) One was a brilliant soccer of the ground after a marking contest. It was also good to see some fighting spirit. After leading all day bendigo came back hit the front and looked like running away with it. But sautner got a lucky well rubbish free kick to seal the win.

Pickett is a long way off, looking at how unfit he was he shouldn't be considered to at least round 5 - 6. Not fair on other players if he is. He is basically overweight and doesnt work hard enough! But sylvia, yze, pj, holland to come in Davey (has to go, just basically a one trick pony, really has no idea about the game and is massively overated by our supporters)neitz inj, robbo trying to take to many speccies and not help the team out glad he's gone, bate (he is young and will improve but must find a spot for him)

I'd loike to know when you saw simon buckley kick a football? He has a beautiful long penetrating kick. He looks the goods, had a good game with sandy on the weekend and will get his chance soon. It's hard not to be negative when our side plays like this. To many usual subjects being talked about. Hopefully garland gets a go he really impressed on the weekend and with sylvia.

get off whateva ur on! Sautner gets cheap goals in a gun vfl side. If anything we need to get rid of him from sandy from a dees point of view because he is keeping our good young players from the forward line, i mean has he ever passed the ball?

I think he is finger pointing is direction his team mates on where to go for the set ups. It looks like he knows them a lot better than most of our midfielders. He has bulked up a fair bit and looks fitter then ever. HE missed most of the pre season with a broken toe and will take time to hit full tilt, needs guys like bruce and green to take control of the midfield to help break his tag. Sides know if they stop trav they will stop melbourne! Clearly shown in the last two weeks. I also i think he has 'toughened' up alot, he laid 7 tackles last weekend nearly the most i think, which is a big improvement.

One of our many problems are our gutless midfielders. The last two weeks we have seen them chip the ball around running 15 meters sideways to get the easy kick, clapping there hands. But when it comes to the crunch in the packs there more than happy to throw out a hand ball. One example was against the hawks green had half the paddock to himself, miller on a strong lead, ignored him then ran to far, had no idea what to do, ao when miller went to lay a sheperd green decided to handball over his head! Our Midfielders Jeff white - Loaps around the ground, little leads to try and get an easy kick, he should be 50 metres up the ground taking a contesed mark! Refuses to make a physical impact! Never imposes himself on the oppistion smaller players! James Mcdonald - Tries harder than most. Lacks vision and skills but makes up in heart! Cameron Bruce - Runs all day to get a kick. Can be silky but not in tight tough situations. No physicallity about him, again struggles to impose himself on a game. Cannot chase! Little vision Travis Johnstone - has bulked up, i worry that sometimes he is 2 or 3 kicks ahead of most player on the ground. Needs to find hunger, but needs help from his mates. He gets the biggest tag each week! Brad Green - Silky skills but anyone can chip it 20 metres sideways. Like other dont want to carry the responsibility of a 50 metres pass forward. Runs hard to get a kick but little manning up! Little marking ability. Mathew Bate - Kicks shocking helicopters! Is fairly slow. Not tough enough yet. Shows good promise at times but needs to stand up! Nathan Jones - Tough, goodish skills and has a crack. Needs to keep improving and not get complacent. Mark Jamar - He just keeps improving. More game time and much better at pushing forward than white! Looks aggresive. Needs to learn his limitations though. Aaron Davey - Needs to forget about being a midfielder. Watching the game i know now he will never be close to the wiz. He needs to stay in the forward 50 and rove, thats what he is there for. No goals this year, should not play at the weekend if we are serious. MArk williams kicked 6, most of them after half time because he stayed where he was meant to and didn't lose patience! Russel Robertson - when davey is off kick chasing he needs to be roving, not flying for the speccy every time. If he keeps going he will just keep getting injured! We have newton and hughes who can to that, No need to sook everytime as well! Basically im just a fed up supporter!

Maybe if he spent more time on football and not looking in the mirror he might play a few good games. THtas his problem he is always worried about getting hurt rather than getting the hard ball like corp. Martyn will struggle without corp putting the ball on a plate for him!

i hear they have finally lost patience with a few average players and let them go. Guy martin is one of them. But they unfortunately lost the services of young gun daniel corp who showed some really good signs last year.
