If Hogan and Watts come back in then either Stretch or ANB will have to go out if not Hannan who I do agree brings that something extra.

ANB for all his forward pressure and improved decision making is excess to needs (dependant on Garlett getting up) with a power forward back in the team demanding the ball.

Stretch did okay but as the replacement for Watts, logic would suggest he's possibly an omission.

Harmes and Bugg below AnB and Stretch IMO.

  2. I think injuries/niggles will be a revolving door due to this 6 day break. Would expect Watts and maybe someone else to cover Salem and potentially Garlett.

Play Hannan deep with Watts and Pedo. JKH can play Hannan's HHF/midfield role.

    Tmac on Buddy

    Pedo ruck support

Maybe OMac comes out if Garlett and Salem are right? Omac was pretty poor last night and was ineffectual against Petrie or McGovern. I know his form has been better, but Buddy could break records on him. Heeney would be too quick for him and Reid is suited to Frost.

  3. I know we're still concentrating on this Saturday's game, but I hope we get a solid crowd turn-out on next Friday night at the MCG against Sydney. With all this talk of North's dismal attendance last Friday night game (even chatter about them moving to Tassie), I think it's a really good opportunity for us (fans, members) to show we appreciate playing on the big stage by showing up in droves next Friday night.

If you haven't already put next Friday in the diary, then do it now!

Both watts and jones wont play. Watts has a hamstring strain and wont be risked. Gawn and JKH will come in

Massive difference between a hamstring strain and tightness. I'll go with the latter based off the way he jogged off the ground.

Dogs barely got over the line against North there and trailed for 3 quarters against Brisbane. Not to mention Etihad has been our fortress this year

True, but they did smash the saints there (but so did we), beat Richmond, and Swans who were pretty good that night.

  6. Dogs play Etihad better than anyone. I reckon it'll be a tough game. The boys have to be 100% on. They were rusty last week due to the bye but came back strong. I predict a very solid hit out and a 5 goal win ?

Provided he plays Sunday and next week, he's on track to play his 150th against Sydney on Friday night at the MCG.

Dont want to look too far ahead and milestone games often tend to backfire but this bloke does deserve a bit more glory.

He's played 148 according to AFL.com so that would mean the game against the eagles will be his 150th.

Yes, I completely lost my s#!t when he kicked that goal, everyone around me lost it. A really great moment.

My little transistor radio flew out of my hands in that moment of jubilation and I had to go find it in the stands afterwards.

Up there with one of the best moments I've watched at the MCG in recent years.
