I'm taking my two younger sons today- 12yo and 8yo. They will be part of the guard of honour as the players run out. There has been a noticeable increase and improvement in communications from the club so far this season. The invitation to be part of the guard of honour is part of this.

9Going to the game tonight with my whole family. First ever game for my partner who is 49yo! She's not keen, but will be able to say she has been ... Have booked accomm near the ground so she and 6yo son can leave at half time, leaving me, my 21yo and 11yo sons to cheer the Dees home! Delighted not such a long wait for the game as last week.

About VFL Park my Dad used to say cold pies and hot drinks. My happiest memory of that awdul place was the 1987 (mid week) night grand final when we hung on desperately to beat the bombers.

On the train with my 9yo son. He is the keenest of my three sons. It feels so wonderfully different to be going to a game as we sit high on the ladder. A bit staggering really.
