I used three member barcodes to get tickets and could not find any tickets that were no cost unless they were for 1 year olds to 5 year olds. Can some one please advise what to click on to get entry to the ground with MFC membership, without paying more ...

1987 VFL Panasonic Cup Final Melbourne Vs Essendon - 1st Half
One of my favourite memories- I was 14 years old. I attended the game with my Dad, my older brother and my younger brother, the three older males big Dees fans. My younger brother had jumped ship a couple of years earlier to barrack for Essendon which had won a couple of real premierships. My memory is of the Dees hanging on desperately in a last quarter that went 25min 42secs. And then celebrating while being so mindful of my younger brother. I thought we were so gentle with him. We made it nearly all the way home when he burst into tears. It seemed so incongruous to me- up until then we'd won nothing- had not even made finals in my lifetime. Of course this VFL Park experience was followed later that year with the tragic prelim final loss in Robbies final game. ... So pleased he got to play finals.

Is it a competition as to who has suffered the most? Surely not.

Jack Viney and the medical staff...
Gary Lyon when his back was cooked? I remember people saying it would be worthwhile him taking to the field in a wheelchair, such was his immense impact on the team ... I recall him hobbling around the forward line like an old man.

New MCC President
Hi. While our relationship is distant, Mike is a cousin of mine. And I can confirm our extended family are and have been Demon supporters forever. Mike has fallen in line with the family tradition- passionate Melbourne. I have fond fond memories of going as a teenager (in the 1980s),with my aunt, Mike's mum (and three of her mates), to many suburban grounds to follow the Dees. The soups these older ladies brought in their thermoses were always comforting, often in the face of defeat. Until that amazing run in 1987 ...

Farewell Jesse Hogan
A player who may need "serious convincing" to play a role for the team if necessary ... I'd prefer players who do what is asked of them wholeheartedly. Brings to mind Jesse's body language which I reckon has been questionable at times. That said, I'm not denying Jesse's many positive footballing characteristics.

I'm on the train from Castlemaine- occasional other Dees supporters here. I'm sitting with the strange feeling of anticipation that comes with the knowledge of win and anything is possible, lose and it's over for this season. I vaguely remember that sense from many years ago. As the day has gone on, I've been feeling my father's presence more and more (he died in 2015).

Forgive my ignorance. What do you mean, you'll be cashing out once his odds tumble?
