Must be him 5 GWS - Hopper - Same as Mills 6 GWS - Kennedy - ^^^ 7 Ess - Weideman - they need a sidekick for Daniher 8 Ess - Oliver - They are also desperate for mids 9 - GCS - Francis - best available they have been into him for a while 10 Melb - Curnow - Yess

Was just listening to the podcast on the AFL website. I switched it off after Carlton's 2nd pick but it went... 1. Weitering - Carl 2. Schache - Bris 3. Mills - Syd 4. Parish - Melb 5. Hopper - GWS 6. Kennedy - GWS 7. Francis - Ess 8. Weideman - Ess 9. Oliver - GCS 10. Curnow - Melb 11. Milera - Carl Curnow and Parish would be an amazing result for us. Thoughts?

Thanks Redleg I certainly reckon the bombers take a mid with 4 or 5. Assuming the suns also take Milera we could have the choice of Mckay, Francis, Curnow and Weideman to select. Only one of them will be gone I predict Weideman

Dunn has experience and knows how forwards move more than Tommy. Especially considering he played as one. Give it a couple years and Tommy will be one of the best defenders in the AFL

After thinking about it for longer I see the Bombers taking at least 1 mid with 4 and 5 I personally see them (as long as we select Parish) taking one of Milera/Matheison/Oliver and one of Curnow or Francis. I believe they take Curnow for a partnership with Daniher. He was never going to slip past the Suns at 6 anyway. Gold Coast select Francis over Milera and Weideman. We take Weideman Another Scenario , is the bombers take Oliver at 5 and Weideman at 4. Gold Coast take Francis at 6 and we take Curnow at 7. This one is the dream really. Apparently the bombers have come to love Oliver and are expected to take him at 4 or 5

His contract doesn"t expire for 2 years. Don't blame him for wanting to wait & see where the team is headed. If we are moving well and we are where we should be then he'll resign. He wants success and loves Melbourne. The city and the team. The only reason he would leave is for poor on field performances. Not worried at all
