Anyone else foaming in anticipation at Goodwins member video after the game?

I said we have average footballers in our team after last weeks game. I'd take average footballers right about now. Bereft of skill and confidence. Swans are gonna breeze this in.

The 300 in attendance would be bitterly disappointed.

I know its a big ask, so just hear me out. Can we put 4 quarters of competitive football together?

In a nutshell, this. Fundamentals arent right. We have gone from "bruise free" to "everyone get in there!". Its so easy for opposition to transition and set up knowing we are screwed if we dont come out of packs cleanly...and that isnt happening because we have very few skilled outside players. There is this romantic notion that a solid preseason and a healthy list is gonna put us back in the mix. If we dont adapt, we are gonna be right back where we are in '20.

Im no fan of Kennett, but his philosophy of surrounding him and his team with the best people available is something we should be doing. Fitness side seems to have made great strides with Burgess, now we need the coaching and skills side. Someone like Roughy from Hawks. Wealth of experience. 4 premierships. Leadership. Knows his craft. Etc etc. Would be perfect to bring in.

Brilliant post. 2 of the 3 MFC members i know have sworn to me they arent renewing. Ive been to 3 games this year and can barely muster watching on kayo.... So im not far behind. Its been such a horrendous season.

Forget the last quarter, Pies had shut the engine off. We have some bloody average footballers in this team.

Apparently Macca worked very closely with Harmsey last year and for that we can be thankful. He was integral getting us into finals. That being said, this year has been a disaster on all fronts and if that means we have to move on certain people to improve then so be it. Its about time this club showed some ruthless aggression.

Players are shot Supporters are shot Season is shot. We will play competitively for a half and thats it. Pies by 6 goals + Cue is firmly in the rack.

Brilliant Post. Go back and watch the last 30-40 mins of the last 10 or so games. Its 4 quarters of footy. Not 2.5 or 3. The same story, week in and week out. But as long as they tried, thats all that matters right?

That says a hell of a lot about our current personnel then doesnt it? Has anyone actually checked on our President? Is he still here? Is he still alive? Something about a new facility is all I've heard since he took on the job.

Said it back when we lost first few games. Theres a dark cloud over the team. Its tangible and you can see it in the interviews. No eye contact. Heads down etc. Goodwin is lost at sea and has no idea how to get back to harbour now that his one and only plan has failed. We deserve every bit of heat we get. Simply not good enough.
