Fair points and yes my attitude with my response could have been made without being rude, so I take your point. I’ve actually done a lisfranc injury myself and there are certainly different degrees of it. I think all involved at the Dees wound have the players health as their number 1 priority and would take calculated risks on a players injury just as they did with May last year. I think the premise of holding players back for the following year is a fraught with danger as their are no guarantees of success. Anyway we see different sides which what makes the world go round. Always easier in hindsight. If we rested players then do we actually win the games we played in and then do we actually make top 4. It’s always easier to say if we did something different then the result may have been different but it’s so subjective. Goody has so much faith in the group which is one of the reasons we won the flag and why all our guns have committed long-term.

Mate the VFL is so far inferior to the AFL. If you changed the 11 injured players for VFL players we would have been beaten by 10 goals.

He is only 22 years old, of course he’ll improve and if you think Chandler and or Bedford are better players than you are kidding yourself. They are both of similar age and have not shown half the ability of Spargs

That’s called depth with the good VFL players you are talking about. As for the kids you neglected to mention JVR, Howes, Woewodin and Moniz who all showed a bit this year. The kids you mention all have flaws that’s why they play VFL to develop and iron out their flaws. I’m not sure what uiu expect a list to look like but no team in the AFL has 40 players of quality who are all ready to play AFL.

We have lots of competition for our bottom 6, the VFL just won the flag after a nearly faultless season. We don’t want for much other then another forward or 2.
