  2. Victory breed emnity, The defeated one sleeps poorly, The peaceful one sleeps easy having given up victory and defeat. The Buddha. As probably the only Melbourne supporter to have meditated for 6 hours yesterday and left a Buddhist monastery this morning to go to the MCG,I used the quote above to keep myself peaceful, just thought I'd offer it here for an substitute for drugs, alcohol, punching holes through walls, burning down the MFC,player witch hunts ect.

  4. Will be going to the game with a Hawks supporter friend, will most likely be sitting amongst the Hawks supporters, most likely be watching the Hawks beating us,but will be doing my part as a Demons supporter cheering, willing and hoping.
  5. His rate of improvement is amazing, where I'll agree he still makes a lot of mistakes and his kicking needs to improve.,he has come a long way already in a short amount of time and will continue to get better week after week.
  6. Maybe Dawes can represent him at his next appearance.
  7. Purple must have got a big... no I mean a little stiffy when he heard this news this morning.
  8. I was reading an article on the MFC website about the meditation the players do before each game with T Mac saying how much it has helped him.You can tell by watching him this year he is in the zone, even during the bad games he keeps performing, something for all us supporters to be positive about.
  9. After watching Casey today I don't want to think about the depths of our shallowness.
  10. Where there is obvious issues of skill levels and fitness, its not hard to see there are big mental issues as well.It seems some of the players from the Bailey/Neeld eras are permantly mentally scarred. It's not possible to win without a belief that you can win and until we have that attitude against the top teams we will not be a force. This probably applies to all departments in the club and the supporters too but it makes it hard for us to believe when we sit there and watch efforts like tonight. The players have to give us a reason to believe. My advice would be to get every player to read The Art of War by Sun Tzu and apply it to football.
  11. Just got home from the game after a long train ride, shall try and keep things positive: T Mac Hogan Seeing Stretch's first goal I got a pink torch
  12. Would be a lovely sense of deja vu to see him have a few bounces down the ground like his old man.
  13. Was about to turn the TV off at half time, glad I stuck around now.
  14. You must be our good luck charm M C,better make sure you get down there tonight.
  15. Just fake deimatic behavior from Eddy,he's not going anywhere.
  16. I remember an interview with Lyon back in his playing days saying the number one reason he plays is for the money, his nickname back then was dollars. That may show where his true loyalties belong.
  17. JKH needs a rearview mirror attached to his forehead.
  18. He needs a preseason playing rugby and mma training to instill some mongrel in him.
  19. Not only the most elite finger pointer in the game today, but the most elite finger pointer in VFL/AFL history.
  20. Just when I thought this thread was running out of gas, here we go again.
  21. Today did seem like a bit off a 2013 reunion,at least Brayshaw seems immune to it.
  22. I like your thinking, and get this Frankenstien guy to clone a few Brayshaws while he's at it.
  23. Melbourne are channelling Neeld in this last quarter.
