Interesting you say this, while he does evade quite well I would say his agility is poor for a player of his size. He seems to have a rather large turning circle and his evasive moves normally result in him going the wrong way. He is tracking nicely but this would be my main concern along with his slow ball drop at this stage.

I think you're on the money jnrmac! Another poster has pointed this out previously and they were spot on. Last year while he was involved in quite a few of our goals with his kicking it was always kicking long to space and someone like Garlett running on to it. I can not recall him ever hitting up a target on the lead last season and he still seems to struggle with this kick, His kicking was exactly like this in the U18 championships and is an area in need of major improvement. His ability to get penetration quickly out of a stoppage on either foot is a valuable asset.

I hope that is just a throwaway line. One has kicked 154 goals at AFL level while the other has kicked 6. He is capable of playing some good football and if he didn't cost too much (financially) I wouldn't be against it.

Simple fact is he was rated 20-30 by most experts. We took him at 9 because he was 'tough'. Not sure if you remember seeing him play, but never showed anything of note. Brad Miller showed a lot more from day dot.
