Tania, this is only a complex situation if you/they are trying to prove that Essendon, Hird et al shouldn’t really be blamed for injecting players with unknown but known substances (see how stupid that is?) Any professional organisation or individual would be crucified if their defence was they didn’t keep notes, or lost them – go to a State Administrative Tribunal with that and see how you go. I wonder what David Evans is thinking about this? If Hird and the rest of his mates acted like Evans all of this would be over by now. Even Hird might have recovered from this. Everyone makes mistakes and maybe people could understand that he lost his way trying to get an edge over the competition, served his punishment and became a better person for it. Hird was one of my favourite non Melbourne players (probably more about watching him play) I find it hard to even look at him now with the way he has responded in all of this. You find out a great deal about someone in adversity. And I wont even start on Tim Watson - he has a son involved in this, but his reputation and club are more important, clearly David Evans did the honourable thing, its hard to say that about the rest of them

Yeah, I am really not happy about this. Jack has not been given a chance (injury free or a stable club) to develop in the right way. There is a lot of talk about "culture" and what seems to be universal with Jack he is A grade in that regard. So Roos brings Brad Miller back - good clubman should never have given him to Richmond - really happy he is back. Petard turns down gold coast and we get rid of him now in Richmond's 22 and don't start me with Martin to Brisbane. This one seems the highest risk of them all.
