Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Watching him live he was impressive. Mind u the Giants were porridge.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Then a 3 way trade with Carlton including an exchange of picks does make sense.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BALIC
I see another Pat Mckenna unfortunately, no thanks.

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Would be the ultimate irony if we drafted young Brayshaw, might bring his brother's game to another level.

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Surprised he wasnt previously look at in the draft given his current form. There must be a flaw (size, aerobic capacity, skills) that is holding him back.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Also I doubt Frost attracted much interest from other clubs (particularly the Crows as they have many tall defenders) hence why is resigned.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Ridge from Bold and the Beautiful wont be happy that Jake is taking the limelight. Seriously as if they know what his intentions are.

Clarence Oliver
Exactly how this complete and useless moron is on the panel in the first place is beyond me. I have to listen to his diatribe on Adelaide radio, he is actually worse than his dad!
-
Josh Kelly
Given they have no 1st round draft picks it will be interesting what they would trade to get him.
-
Josh Kelly
I heard the same thing as well. Guess with Watson leaving and having few star players gives the filth some $$$ to throw at him.
-
Josh Kelly
Wishful thinking but it would be the ultimate irony if we ended up with him considering we could have drafted him in the first place. Hopefully he wont hold a grudge if he does leave the Giants.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I agree. Lever is not worth two 1st rounders IMO. 1st and a 3rd would suffice.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
You can probably add Charlie Cameron to Brisbane as well.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Thanks for proving me wrong, shouldnt listen to Adelaide Clowns!

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Adelaide media suggests the Dogs are in the play as well and Bevo spoke with his manager last week.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I would'nt be trading Salem although I think he is a player the Crows would be interested in. Although Lever is worth a first rounder I would be hesitant in trading it as he is not a lock down defender and we could pot. draft another midfield gun; which ATM is a bigger priority.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I recall Kurt Tippet saying similar things on radio and we know how that ended up. But would you imagine the reaction if he said "yes I met with Melbourne and considering their offer". He would always deny it if he or his "Manager" met with the Club. Either way I would be surprised if he left.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Depends if we finish up with a top ten pick which on current form is unfortunately achievable. I would'nt be giving up Pick 7-12 and a player for Lever. He is a very good footballer but he is also part of very good backline for which he would not get the same support at Melbourne.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
From memory Geelong used that pick to get Brad Ottens from Richmond
-
Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I would say yes but we need to remember Lever does not always play the role of a "lock down defender" as this is mainly shared between Talia, Kelly and Hartigan. Havent said that if we got him it would make our backline a lot more reliable and make life easier for O/Mac/Frost.

Glaring weakness in defence
Yes how Jetta ended up on Brown or Waite was bizarre, obviously a tactic by North that we reacted poorly. Im all for getting Lever and keep Oscar as a backup. OMac tries his guts out but he is not there yet.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
He was on Adelaide radio during the week and indications would think he will stay in Adelaide. It wouldn't surprise if his manager is getting Melbourne Journos to talk him up to increase his $$$$.
