  1. Likes on this site are just like high fives right? A like for you...a like for you... i dont care what you've said. Go Dees!!!!!
  2. Would love to see Salem spend a bit of time in the centre with Jones out
  3. I'm also loving what Frost is bringing to the table. However, it was our midfield's ability to deny GCS forward entries that helped Frost keep Lynch quiet in the second half. However, his trajectory is looking positive.
  4. I wish I shared your optimism, but, I have a bad feeling about this. We have matched up on them well in recent times, but, injury has cruelled us of height. And not Unlike last week, where a strong team of talls had the ascendency, I have a suspicion Lynch, Wright, May and Witts will tear us a new one. I hope the boys stand up and prove me wrong.
  5. Danelska, I'm a bit concerned by your obsession with toasters in the bath. Maybe try playing with them in a safer manner, like taking them for a walk. They come with a built in lead. As long as your wearing a Richmond/Melbourne jumper, the cry for help will be understood by all whom observe you.
  6. I want to see this: B: Jetta. Frost. Smith HB: Hunt. TMAC Hibbard C Vince. Oliver. Lewis HF VDB Watts Trac F Garlett Hogan. Pedo Foll: Gawn Viney Jones Int: Salem Tyson Stretch ... not excusing the games we've lost. But, if we're still making the same mistakes with a full squad, I'd be very surprised. Im hoping for for a very strong run home and the experience of no ruck will serve our chop out ruck very well running into the finals. I'm not looking at this as an excuse, on the contrary, we are finding a way to be competitive in difficult circumstances. Infuriating? Yes. Out of the race? No. It is an incredibly even competition this year. At full strength, I believe we will stand above. Go Dees.
  7. Even better for my little investment. I'll get them on the way in for the microwave and on the way out with the toaster.
  8. Relocation seems to fit the Bill. Go you Tassie Tigers ? richmond lost half their members last night, seems right we should set them up with a new supporter base. *conflict of interest alert: I do have share in an electrical goods store in Hobart.
  9. schadenfreude ˈʃɑːd(ə)nˌfrɔɪdə,German ˈʃɑːdənˌfrɔydə/ noun pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune. "a business that thrives on Schadenfreude"
  10. W.O.W Tiges W.O.W
  11. Gee the Swans have awoken, looking ominous. But, on the upside a win has us sneaking into the eight, pushing out the Saints. If Carlton and GWS have success we should sit in 6th spot. It would be nice to cement that spot going into the bye.
  12. If memory serves...oh wait..it doesn't.
  13. I think Tommy Mac's goals were both during play. Wonder what his set shots are like? that said, I thought his presence and abilty to crash packs was immense. He seemed to really relish creating havoc rather than fixing it.
  14. I saw Hodge give him a verbal tirade the other week, while trying to push him down to China. Clarry was enthusiastically responding with a 'is that all your old tuckshop lady arms have got' Come on, the boy played GVFL seniors as a sixteen year old. Those guys used to throw the bolts of truck tyres at each other for kicks when I was a kid. The toughness of afl is nothing to this kid. Hodgey is a hawthorn boy and those APS antics are nothing to this kid. Good luck to them trying a tag. He lives that stuff.
  15. Could someone make a gif of that Oliver goal. Just W.O.W.
  16. At least the benedict is far tastier than the usual response Omac gives, heart in the mouth. Maybe wash it down with a snifter of breakfast brandy, sit back and enjoy the show. Hopefully that will be the last oral discomfort you endure today.
  17. I wonder how Omac would go in the forward line. If he pretends to be playing in defence, some of those cross goal kicks may result in a couple of goals for us.
  18. I like the idea of Pederson and Watts both giving Spencer the chop out. Keeps things moving, creates unpredictability and freshness. Throwing Hogan into the midfield every now and then would also challenge the flexibility of their defenders. Im not sure Weiderman allows us to change the dynamics of our forward line if things aren't panning out.
  19. A #2 Spencil and a dream can take you anywhere. Joyce Meyer
  20. I'm sure they'll get a compensation pick to soften the blow. Poor buggers haven't had a good go of it of late.
  21. Fancy big tough Nick Maxwell and co. Smashing a debutante...I won't hold Jack in any lessor light showing a bit of mongrel. Perhaps he could have made the bounce though
