How did King go?

Stupid thread. Let's try and make the finals first. The next 3 games are basically elimination finals for us.

IN: HANNAN, WEIDEMAN, BRAYSHAW OUT: MELKSHAM, HARMES, PEDERSEN Watts shouldn't get dropped he's too important. He's not the only one out of form the whole team is out of form. There tackling pressure and 2 way running has been disgraceful the last 2 weeks. We were lucky not to get beaten by 10 goals, on a positive note Maynard looks like he can play the game.

Tanking doesn't happen anymore now that they have taken away the priority pick away so it really is a dumb move to tank. There is very little difference between picks 1,2 and 3 usually anyway. All tanking will do is create losing culture.

Who is in and who is out then.

Pedersen replaced Gawn perfectly, but he is a player that has to play well most weeks to keep his spot. Can we find a replacement for Jones and Viney for the next month? That's the question. Lewis, Vince and Tyson will have to lift and the fringe players will have to show that they are AFL standard to keep their spot when given the chance.

This thread has come around at least a week too early. We had enough depth to cover our ruckman, do we have enough depth to cover our midfield? We will see what our fringe players are really made of. ANB, JKH, Harmes, Kennedy, J.Smith, White, Wagner, Maynard, Kent, Weideman, Pedersen, Trengove and Melksham will need to show us what they are made of if they want to be more than just good VFL players. I'm looking forward to the Carlton game win that game and we suddenly don't have any depth lose and then we may have a problem.

IN: WATTS, GARLETT, HOGAN, JKH, KENNEDY, J.SMITH OUT: VINEY, TYSON, BUGG, WAGNER, WHITE, STRETCH Glad Bugg is going to get suspended, he is spud, hopefully he never plays a game for us again.

The worst thing Jason Taylor done was recruit him ahead of Ben Brown. I doubt that we would lost a game if we had him in the side.

Kent was named our second best player behind Wagner. Did you see it differently or are we really that bad?

His form was good this year.

Is there any tall forward\ruckman in this year's draft? Sam Reid for a 2nd round draft pick. I still think when fit our 2 Gawn and Spencer can play in the same team.

I doubt Tyson will get dropped. Bugg's spot is up for grabs if he doesn't perform.

Is Weideman playing? Trenners the only Melbourne listed player over 20 possessions is disappointing.

We could get away with Gawn being injured but to lose Spencer as well is a massive blow. We only have kids left in King and Filipovic who you wouldn't think would get thrown to the wolves. Pedersen and Watts are second stringers.

We won't win a game without a ruckman. The last quarters against Richmond and Geelong show how bad we are without one. To have to rely on Watts and Pedersen means trouble. Looks like we will be talking about draft picks again, I thought we were past this. [censored] injuries have killed us this year.

IN: LEWIS, O.MCDONALD, PEDERSEN OUT: SMITH, SPENCER, JKH

The Riewoldts, Hawkins and McCarthy have killed us this year. This year McDonald has been far too loose, we probably need another tall back to give him a chop out.

Weideman obviously didn't play?

If he has another poor game I think he'll make way for Lewis.
