My opinion is that we get Mccartin this year, to add more depth to our forward line...Because honestly... we can't rely on Hogan when we haven't even see him play a game at AFL level yet. Then next year, seeing how it's a midfielder's draft apparently, we get a few midfielders via either trade, free agency, or draft. Simple...instead of taking a MASSIVE risk on Lever.

Everyone deserves a second chance. Plus, I think now,he will have the hunger to prove all the doubters wrong, as well as his many learning experiences at Melbourne, and great reputation at Collingwood. Overall a risky appointment by the bombers, but it could have a very high return. All the best Neeldy! And the people who still hold grudges on this guy are pathetic. Forgive and forget. His life no longer effects yours. Life is too short to hold grudges. Again, i wish him the best....not Essendon though...[censored] them...(am i hypocrite?)

Well according to some Collingwood supporter, we are 100% getting Mccartin, under the assumption Saints take Petracca. I have an excellent source at the MFC and have been told they have locked in McCartin at 2, and Brayshaw at 3, believing the Aints have locked on Petracca at 1. If the Aints take Petracca that's how it will fall. Not really sure who GWS take as it's just guessing, but I'm hoping Wright slips through to us at 5.
