  1. If the money is to be believed in the papers: 6mil over 7 years. ~900K per year. that is not bad. In 3-4 years we will be thinking he is getting paid well below his market value as the salaries and TV deals increase over time post covid
  2. My counting isn’t great, can someone tell me how many Collingwood players are in the 22?
  3. Best coach at the moment is...??? Goodwin. Nice. how about all those small fwds huh? No one below 6 foot. Insulting to the skill and persistence needed to be a good small fwd. a completely essential role in the AFL. where is KOZZI!!? thats right, still no happy
  4. Clearly we need to ensure no Sydney based fans attend the game
  5. Yeah I hear ya. The quicker they get rid of the online ticket ordering BS the better
  6. Jesus, Petty is only 21 still! Feels like he has been around for a long time. reckon I’ve been a bit harsh on him for a lack of composure at times. Hopefully it comes. His hands are great and looks a good lock down defender. good luck to the kid
  7. I honestly cannot believe what is happening this year. If Trac had any doubts about our list, potential for success, coaching, facilities etc he would have only signed for 2 years. He is not signing just because we are 7-0. It gives me good confidence we can win a flag in the next 5 years. Trac is such a competitor, no way he stays somewhere if he doesn't seriously believe they can be successful
  8. In fairness to Gerard and Robbo (stick with me here) - their point was the AFL is going so hard on hits to the head and concussion protocols and then a hit to the head like this goes unpunished. An extension of their contention would be that Danger should also have been suspended in the GF. As first glance in real time, the Fritsch one looks like a week. It is only when you consider it and go through everything that has been discussed in this thread already that is becomes clear it is only a fine No way there will be an appeal from the AFL
  9. Well played sir. Never thought he would sign for so long.

I’m... pretty excited Trac signing for 7 years is the most exciting thing to happen all year this is how premiership teams are made
  11. Holy [censored] [censored]! what a [censored] legend!! im [censored] lost for words!!
  12. Only way to serve up Frittata is HOT HOT HOT
  13. yep he does. But I don't rate his ruck work and I'm not sure he a lock down defender - cover for Tomo/May/Petty. I could be wrong here but I reckon he is more a good mark/intercept guy if we get 2-3 injuries down back it might get messy!
  14. keep it down mate, that's the precedent we want to use to get Fritsch off!
  15. At least I didn't mention Jordan, in my defence
  16. A key back in case of further injuries would be handy Also a mature ruck, in case Gawn goes down or needs a breather - as he is getting beaten up every week now.
  17. expecting over 80K mate?
  18. I think they can also use the - what other reasonable option did he have - defence A bloke coming in low in a split second, he has the ball and a broken hand, should he risk a clash of heads? bump him?
  19. They showed this vision side by side with the Fristch incident 'On The Couch' last night. Garry flying the flag for us like usual. Like it or not, media noise about decisions directly impacts the MRO and tribunal Fantasic that we are appealing
  20. The horrible performance against North has shaken my confidence in the team. North are a poor team (see 127pt loss to dogs) and were 20pts up in the 3rd Q, on a clear day just because they out-worked us. We did well to recover but I saw danger signs. What is up with Gawn? I have never seen him drop a chest mark and fumble inside defensive 50. maybe it was the head knocks Hopefully it was the shock we needed to keep our winning season on track. I suspect we will need to grind this one out. Swans are a different team with Buddy in - 11 goals in 3 games Demons by 4 points
  21. Hopefully the first half against North is a good reminder we can lose to anyone anytime if our intensity is off. It certainly was for me!
  22. Rampe and Buddy in the Swans. viney, Tommo and Fristch out for us this will be a very tough game. Someone has to bring Vineys intensity in the middle (sadly missing yesterday) and someone needs to make up for Fritsch’s 3 goals per game. Also Petty needs to hold his own down back
  23. They just had on ‘on the couch’ Tommo is number 1 in the AFL in defence for 1 on 1s. Only been beaten once out of 21 contests. a big loss for us
  24. Weed in for Fristch is a major downgrade. Not because Weed is no good but Fritsch is on fire and offers a point of difference. Weed, T Mac, B Brown and LJ is too tall and not mobile enough. Our pressure will suffer
