The problem with using precedents and the Buddy elbow etc is the other incidents where in play. Buddy had the ball. Whilst I agree he should have gotten a week along with Astbury etc Viney is not helped by it being off the ball

A very dangerous thing - prolonged pressure to the neck with the elbow. Could have blocked oxygen to the brain. Off the ball, lasted 4-5 seconds. He’s in trouble. 2 weeks minimum I’d reckon

Well done Majak for talking about this. He has had to overcome so much. Let's hope he leads a happy life from here. It is so common for young men (and women) to go through horrible times like this and the more we can all talk about it, the more likely we can save lives. I am sick of suicide being a taboo issue in case it triggers other suicides or because people feel uncomfortable. I am truly sick of hearing about another mate who took his own life (happened again last month), not even having any idea he was going through anything at all
