  1. I think we can all agree Melkshams efforts are poor at times but if you can’t see his talent or upside you must be blind whether that should be enough to be in the side is another thing
  2. Best 4 emergencies I’ve seen for decades
  3. With all due respect to Jonsey, he should not be compared to Petracca. In 7 years time The money we are paying Trac will seem like a bargain how do you know there is not flexibility built into the contract? Or a long term strategy by the club to front end for example, freeing up money for Kozzi and Jackson. Therefore giving us more flexibility and the ability to plan ahead with confidence
  4. Laughing why? What’s the negatives? you want to risk losing him in 4-5 years for nothing? if he does his knee next year I’ll still offer him a long contract.
  5. I honestly have no idea how anyone could be against a 7 year deal for Trac. Give me some specific reasoning...?? mist clubs would dream of locking the best player in the league away for that long. I’d do the same for Bont and maybe a couple of others. For a ruckman or aging key forward? Hell no! But for a gun 25yo mid, [censored] yes!
  6. Hardly a fall guy - the List manager overseeing the last 3 years must go and quick. Not saying he is solely responsible but clearly had a fair bit to do with this mess No Salary cap, No stars - how does that work? And they don't have any young guns coming through aside from Daics x2 Expect blokes like Howe to get chucked out next
  7. Buddy has still got it folks, write him off at your peril. last outing in round 5 against the Giants, he kicked 5.0 and took 5 contested marks. they are a much better team with him in it
  8. The Age reporting 3 Sydney assistants won’t be making the trip to Melbourne for fear they may not be let into Melb. pyke, Cox, McVeigh. They better download Zoom
  9. Weed must be feeling stiff. If it wasn't for that injury, he would have played in 7 wins and have 15+ goals most likely and be thinking how good is this
  10. jesus, what are the odds of the swans coaches being at that exact same cafe on the same day? Covid can go [censored] itself. Actually it does self-replicate so it even has that covered!
  11. I might have missed something but wasn’t it our choice to travel the same day to Tassie or were we forced to do this?
  12. standard No DH policy

I have since Sunday varied between: it won't last, we are still weak. we might sneak into finals to I honestly can't see who can beat us. The Flag is ours to lose
  14. The drug cheats might get lucky and get a home game against GWS on Sat
  15. If the money is to be believed in the papers: 6mil over 7 years. ~900K per year. that is not bad. In 3-4 years we will be thinking he is getting paid well below his market value as the salaries and TV deals increase over time post covid
  16. My counting isn’t great, can someone tell me how many Collingwood players are in the 22?
  17. Best coach at the moment is...??? Goodwin. Nice. how about all those small fwds huh? No one below 6 foot. Insulting to the skill and persistence needed to be a good small fwd. a completely essential role in the AFL. where is KOZZI!!? thats right, still no happy
  18. Clearly we need to ensure no Sydney based fans attend the game
  19. Yeah I hear ya. The quicker they get rid of the online ticket ordering BS the better
  20. Jesus, Petty is only 21 still! Feels like he has been around for a long time. reckon I’ve been a bit harsh on him for a lack of composure at times. Hopefully it comes. His hands are great and looks a good lock down defender. good luck to the kid
  21. I honestly cannot believe what is happening this year. If Trac had any doubts about our list, potential for success, coaching, facilities etc he would have only signed for 2 years. He is not signing just because we are 7-0. It gives me good confidence we can win a flag in the next 5 years. Trac is such a competitor, no way he stays somewhere if he doesn't seriously believe they can be successful
  22. In fairness to Gerard and Robbo (stick with me here) - their point was the AFL is going so hard on hits to the head and concussion protocols and then a hit to the head like this goes unpunished. An extension of their contention would be that Danger should also have been suspended in the GF. As first glance in real time, the Fritsch one looks like a week. It is only when you consider it and go through everything that has been discussed in this thread already that is becomes clear it is only a fine No way there will be an appeal from the AFL
  23. Well played sir. Never thought he would sign for so long.

I’m... pretty excited Trac signing for 7 years is the most exciting thing to happen all year this is how premiership teams are made
  25. Holy [censored] [censored]! what a [censored] legend!! im [censored] lost for words!!
