  1. Be crazy to play him if he has soreness his the same foot even if the scans are clear. He has become critical to our set up and can’t really be replaced. Bring in Pedo to ruck/fwd role and have hogan play more wing and roaming role. If it has flared up again he just lost himself a lot of money on his next contract
  2. Marvel doesn’t roll off the tongue like GMHBA stadium
  3. Crows might get Matt Crouch and Milera back for Sunday but are still without, Walker, Sloane, B Crouch, McGovern, Knight, and B Smith. That's 6 of their best. Shows how badly the dogs are going to only score 2 goals against them http://www.afc.com.au/news/2018-05-22/injury-update-round-10
  4. We have beaten 4 rubbish team so its hard to know how good we are. One thing I know is that we have a perfect run at this season now. no injuries, players in form, genuine stars dominating. After the last 4 weeks, importantly the players will have begun to believe. Believe in the game plan, in Goody, in themselves. We have a great opportunity to grab this season by the throat. the next 3 weeks will be fascinating
  5. interesting when you take into account that there is competition for Cripps in getting the hard ball and Clarry has Viney etc to compete with, his acheivement is better than Cripps
  6. Jeff won't get picked coz its indigenous round, that's ridiculous. He only has himself to blame when he doesn't get picked as he is playing poorly in the 2s
  7. NO CHANGE Peedo stiff bernie didn’t get daisy high so he’ll be fine
  8. Gee we just cannot play the MCG very well can we??? ?
  9. Geelong can’t buy a free kick. 4 blatant frees not paid. Umps must want dons to win. The cheats look switched on
  10. I reckon the crowd in Shanghai will be bigger than Trump's inauguration! it'll be HUUUUUUGGGEEE!
  11. sounds like he is little chance to come in this week. He'll be pumped to play in NT so hope he plays well for casey
  12. Any reason to assume he would not join Hawks or Cats like usual? the Cats may not have that much cap space but I'd imagine he would go there for less if needed
  13. Cant think of many if any A graders that have gone to bottom of the table teams. although they get more money when they leave they always go to a team with at least decent change of a flag in the next few years
  14. Main reasons that Oliver is better: he has a burst from the pack (that will get better and he will use more) He is a longer, better kick he is a better handballer he plays for Melbourne
  15. That for real Chelly? Kent another 4 weeks??
  16. Who is going to challenge this Appeal!? fk it, lets get ASADA involved. they should clean this mess up ?
  17. perfect way to ease him in: Casey last week Carlton this Sunday Proper AFL team the week after :-)
  18. MRO --> Tribunal --> AFL appeal feels a bit like the AFL appealing against themselves. lets face it, they control the other two unofficially. what a farce! you would have to assume one of them at least will be overturned, otherwise what the point!?
  19. I respect your opinion rjay. just don't agree with it. the umpires in these cases had the opportunity to speak if they felt there was any issue at all. one said they couldn't remember it and the other said they weren't bothered by it (more memory), you would think they would consider the lower level comps when making these remarks. or if they felt Ed was being arrogant or demostrotive they could mention this also.
  20. Good decisions. Incidental, non threatening contact should not result in players missing weeks.
  21. DRawing a connection between incidental, almost friendly contact and assault is far from common sense
  22. Crazy how different I feel from losing to Hawks/Tigers than to beating Dons/Suns. I too share the feeling that we are building something, even without seeing the proof of us beating good teams. One of the biggest things in out favour is so many other teams have significant injuries (Crows, Pies, GWS, swans, dogs, etc). With Viney back if we have a good run of injuries, I think we will play finals for sure. Especially for a youngish team, having your full list is massive for team cohesion, confidence etc. I mean how many games have our core young guns even played together??? Clarry, Gus, Salem, Hogan, Trac. Not many!! Beat the crows and the Dogs and I will be UP AND ABOUT!!!
  23. I get this argument but I just don’t agree. The respect for umpires in Afl is low from players and fans alike. Ordering them to not touch does not promote respect. JUst use some common sense rather than ‘you just can’t do it’. Making the umps professional, getting former players involved and promoting the important and difficult job umpires have is the best way to increase the respect level all the way to grass roots
