Very true. for example I reckon the late Col Sylvia would be an A grader if he came to us now RIP Col
-
I reckon he is a good coach. Look at Gold Coast, had the same early picks and have never made finals. Even had Ablett. Stability is underrated in footy. But constantly losing your gun players like J Cameron, Treloar, Adams, Shiel, etc etc. it’s so hard to be consistent Poisoned chalice in West Sydney. You’d be mad to go unless you thought you wouldn’t get another senior gig
-
It is clear he is lying every time he scratches the left side of his face. Goes back to the right side as soon as an non contract question comes. He is Gone! kidding obviously. The bloke is so genuine. Nothing in that interview aside from a bloke concentrating on winning footy matches and waiting til mid year or later to sign the most important contract of his life. Nothing wrong with that. He will stay for sure unless we don’t offer him a reasonable deal or have cap issues
-
That’s quite the long bow to draw Chip knew he was leaving. Gus is playing back as Salem is injured. Who else could we put there? Certainly not a bloke like Harmes. Gus has amazing versatility
-
PJ tapped Roos not the AFL I don’t think Clarkson would have any interest in this mess of an organisation aside from an easy pay packet
-
Yze would be mad to go to GWS. Players constantly leaving, terrible culture, no supporters. They are 2-6 and have a top 3 midfield in the comp. 2-3 years of continued underperforming and Yze’s coaching career would be over Yze is good enough to wait for a team like Port, Dogs. I can see a lot of coaches being moved on in the next couple of years
-
so tempted to facepalm you but laughed instead 😂
-
How is this even a story? Premiership Star Angus Brayshaw is playing some of his best footy of this career and I'm sure would feel privileged to be in this position. He will sign on of course
-
I always take it as a positive. Like they are so blown away by my amazing comment I get quite a lot so I must be popular!
-
If you are like me, you are still coming to terms to us being Premiers and being 8-0. Ten years ago we were the laughing stock of the comp and I honestly thought I would never see a flag in my lifetime (I was 32 then). I was watching AFL360 tonight (stay with me) and they were talking about North and how to rebuild and not to blame Noble etc. Kingy brought up stats from the teams that had rebuilt successfully - namely Brisbane and us. There were no jokes, no mention of the previous 10 years of failed rebuilds, Jack Watts did not even get a mention! They were seriously talking about us as having a fantastic rebuild and now being a great team. The scars from the last few decades sit with us supporters but the media and pubic have moved on. We have respect. Actual respect. Not pity. Might just be me but it finally hit me that the dark days are over. Not just for the next few years, but we are a quality organisation that we can proud of full stop. Not sure where I am going with this, just wondering if people feel the same or am I just rambling? Us long suffering supporters (Im sure many longer suffering than I) have been through a lot. And I for one, am ready to let all that [censored] go and say we are a [censored] good team!!

The bravest and strongest bloke in footy
-
I'm sure they'd like Clarry and Kozzi too but good luck with any of it LJ seeing WC being unfit and ill disciplined should do wonders for us signing him on quickly
-
I agree, I reckon he should do this rather leak snippets of private conversations. let the court hear his case and let's get to a resolution I don't follow your final remark in relation to my comment but maybe that was aimed at someone else. I am certainly not saying there wasn't systemic racism at Colingwood
-
This could well ruin Buckley's promising media career and impact whatever else he wants to do in life I for one, don't think he deserves this treatment. The culture at the club was/is poor and he was part of that. But, I believe he tried to do better and is now no longer at the club. Happy for Lumumba to continue to go after the club if he wishes and take them to court etc, but I would leave individuals out of the media.
-
Although Gawn is out on the track, unless his knee is 100%, he should miss the game through injury. LJ will destroy them in the ruck
-
WC are only missing 8 first 22 players and are playing at home. The coaches will be mainly working on keep our mentality strong this week on the track
-
Gus 100% stays where he is. It’s a move that has worked way better than anyone thought. Rivers/Bowey/Hunt will want to keep playing. One of them will come out for Salem imo. If it was 4 weeks it’d be an easy decision as Hunt was playing poorly but he has done very well the last few weeks a tough call for sure
-
Luke Jackson can easily step up into the Number 1 ruck role. See how Maxy pulls up after a week off and if he is uninjured he can come back for the North game
-
Buckley responded well today. lumumba should try to get on with his life
-
I’ve got on Ben Brown for the Coleman so shouldn’t hurt my chances. Currently on 15, should be leading the goal kicking by round 11
-
Way to knock us off the back pages Lumumba
-
I watched Kozzi closely during the game and I thought he was amazing. He chased everything at full pace. even when the bloke for 40m metres away. often he didn't reach the bloke before he disposed of the ball but the pressure was still there and it resulted in so many turnovers. he could/should have had 4 goals by half time the only blight on his game was the Selwood pushing the arm high to get a free kick I didn't like. Hopefully the coaches have a chat
-
Agreed. Also Viney played a really solid game in tight. His intensity and toughness early set the tone as usual. great leadership
-
it was a good crowd indeed! Vast majority were Demons fans also, i'd say almost 30K Sitting behind the cheer squad, it was a great atmosphere
-
6 Langdon 5 Brayshaw 4 Oliver 3 Trac 2 Viney 1 Kossi if Gus didn’t miss several targets early he would be BoG. Him and Langers so brave
