When I met my wife in 1985 she was living in Kensington.Willo was her neighbour.I had a couple of brief chats with him.Then we got married and moved away.I saw him at a Melbourne game about 2 years ago and introduced myself.He told me to stick with the Dees because we're going to come good.He's still a Dees supporter.

I have spoken to Christian's father a couple of times,as he has a restaurant around the corner from my home.His dad told me Christian played his junior/ school footy as a forward.And he was good!So let's move him to a wing or the half forward flank.(Remember those positions?!)

We have a young , inexperienced team , who I think fell for the talk about playing in the finals.And put themselves under pressure.And we have a 1st year coach - under pressure.We still have a chance of making the finals.But next year we will definitely play finals.Lets stick together.

If my memory is correct : when we beat the Eagles in Perth - for the first time there ? - he walked off the ground , slapped his his left hand on his right upper arm , telling the booing Eagles fans to ....go away?! And I did had a brief chat to him at the G 2 years ago and he told me not to give up on the Dees - not that I needed to be told.A good bloke.

I went to see it at 2.30.It has already been tagged but the big majority is ok.It is really big.I had a photo of myself standing in front by a Chinese tourist- a young lady.Then her mother moved next to me and I put my MFC scarf around her neck!So me and Tom Bugg will feature in the holiday snaps in China!

Stop worrying Red And Blue.I am on speaking terms with Christian's dad who owns a restaurant in Brighton.Last Saturday morning Alex drove past as I was walking my dog.He stopped,wound down the window and yelled " Go the Dees".The family go to training and Casey as well.So I am positive Christian will re-sign.( his dad used to barrack for the Bombers!)

I like the idea of Tommy McD sharing the ruck with Pederson.

I have watched the replay.It was an intense,scrappy game by both teams.We led for three and a half quarters and scores were equal at the 6 minute mark.This was against the top team.We were 2 players short.Not one player gave up or stopped trying till the final siren.The Dees were fantastic. Bring on the Bombers!

I really dislike this topic. Why are we using North American sporting terminology to "analyse" Australian Rules Football? I 've had enough of the words offence and defence. And some bozos are using the word quarterback when analysing games!!We play an Australian game so lets not Americanise it.
