For the thirsty fan there are a wealth of pubs not far from Linton St to cool off. There's the East Boundary Hotel on the corner of Centre and East Boundary roads and the South Side Six on South Rd up towards Warragul Rd

Imagine trying to read this thread from start to finish I think you'd end up in a mental asylum dribbling all over yourself, muttering incoherently while rocking back and forth.
Actually that sounds like a Saturday night at @Bitter but optimistic's joint, Romsey's finest establishment for the mentally insane.
You might end up in the madhouse rocking backwards and forwards and mumbling incoherently, reading this thread from go to whoa but you'd be a Melbourne supporter and you'd be with other like ( twisted ) minded individuals, so there are two positives !!

Help needed !!!
I think I was reading it in this thread, someone mentioned anthemic sauna music and that person was praised for their arcane music knowledge.
It was weird but I need to know the name of the band and also the music. I think it was Swedish
Thanks in advance people !

As a matter of interest, are you using a colloquial expression to mean Verral is rucking against Gawn and being beaten badly or that Gawn is actually teaching him properly?
What Verral picks up from Max will be worth it's weight in gold.

He's correct about "wasted era" if we fail to make the top four. However, I believe we are a strong chance to finish top. I am not convinced that Geelong can back it up.
Nor Brisbane second, or Sydney third.
I actually think we are better than all of these teams we ought to finish a clear 1st

Big chance for the fans to see the team against actual opposition next Friday.
What do we want to see from our team in this outing ? I personally want to see Van Rooyen get a chance to show his wares and see what the plan is from the club re Maxy and Brody.
I'm keen to see how Lachie Hunter does in tandem with Langdon
Oh Hell I just want to see them play

That was an unexpected ovccurrence and bad judgement by our Coaches. Harry s not ready quite yet at Jay time and nerves overcame him!
We have seen the glorious result. No 35 a fan favourite.
I love that guy and I bet his back line buddies feel the same way.

I think the club is right in it's approach re untried players making their debut.
The club doesn' t gift games to players and rightly so. If a player makes their debut game this year i will be happy to see them given a shot because they will have earned it.
Let's not forget a young guy who got his first game in the backline and looked well off the pace. He went on to become a fan favourite and a strong premiership performer ..... Harry Petty

No Grundy ? Interesting.
Grundy has been left out of this poster’s team for reasons we mug supporters can’t fathom.
i can’t personally see how Grundy is not already in our top 25 players when you look at his performances at the pies.

People are very fatalistic in this thread. Are we really this doubtful that he’ll stay at the club.
I’m not convinced he’s rushing out the door at the first opportunityLighten up folks.

When draft time comes around, I invariably think of a chubby Clayton Oliver and what he's now become. Always feels like an absolute miracle that he became such a talent and that he's ours. Is it too much to ask for something akin to that again?
ahhhh yes it is but it's worth asking all the same.

I feel it's time that Clayton Oliver lived up to expectations.
4 B&F's, 3 All Australians, 2 AFLCA Player of the Year Awards, 1 Premiership Medal.
The guy has clearly been coasting throughout his career to date.
No doubt he's got another gear/ level to go to. He's been foxxing to date
I predict he's capable of at least another 27% improvement on what he's done so far

It’s Geelong’s home game so they should be able to play it where they want.
The issue I have is that only certain teams have to play there.
Oh, and that their stadium is totally tax payer funded.
To be fair the Daniel Andrews government has only spent about $120 on upgrading Kardinia Park.
It's a totally reasonable and justifiable amount to lavish upon one club and one town, especially since state debt is at an historically low levels.

Didn't Dangerfield leave Adelaide to win premierships?
Awwww. Take the word flag and replace the 'a' with an 'o'
Dangerfield wanted to go to Geelong to be closer to family ( in Fish Creek )
In that respect his move has been a tremendous success
Good for him !! LEL !

“Abhor” is my favourite. As in, I abhor Essendon. I abhor Essendon fans. I abhor Essendon players: past, present and future. I abhor everything about the EFC. I abhor the posse of butch thugs (girls) who bullied me mercilessly in high school, forever donned (pun intended) in their two-sizes- too-small Essendon regalia. But I’m totes over that now.
Easy girl !!
You 're safe now !
You're amongst friends here !!
