  1. At that instant, like photos of players going for a mark with their eyes closed. But I see your point, what is the thread about again?
  2. I didn't have a better explanation. He missed his mouth. He was cooling down. His forehead was dry. How would you explain it?
  3. I have heard the city of Melbourne called many things, but even I think that is harsh. We country folk put up with many things, city folk use our water, eat our food and then have the temerity to blame us for putting in infrastructure so they can move around their dump. Wastelands may be an appropriate location for urban sprawl. I do thank you for only having three sets of traffic lights in the 188km drive from my front door to parking near the members at the G.
  4. Biff that is so all the poor city people can escape the rat race at the weekend and come and annoy us plebs living the dream in the bush.
  5. Melbourne traffic! Bolte bride is it closed for repairs? Accidents, a protest march, WWF wrestling at Rod Laver? International Frisbee championships at AAMI? World congress of rotary and apex clubs at Margaret Court arena? Scouts Jamboree at Collingwoods Holden Centre? Snail rodeo at Goschs paddock? It is a minefield, anything is possible, good luck.
  6. Washing the chlorine out of his eyes.
  7. Ethan, Salvio Plana patented the training wheel in 1996, now you and I know that they were around long before then, Huffy has claims in 1949. Kirkpatrick Macmillan has claims in 1839. No reference can be found of a Mr God inventing training wheels, however fires, floods, pestilence and Collingwood did get a mention.
  8. Earl, I think drinking and falling are natural activities especially when combined. Riding a bike enhances ones ability to fall.
  9. Problem. We have a very even season and after 17 rounds all sides are on 9 wins 8 losses separated by percentage only. Can the bottom side still finish on top?

  11. Or be the designated man on the mark for kicks after the siren.

  13. That is rather tall over 21 feet I believe, could be a handy basketballer.
  14. If clubs lose sight of the value of paid up members they have lost the plot.
  15. We traded pick 2 for Tyson and another pick + steak knives each way. We did not trade Kelly for Tyson & Salem in the 2013 draft. The comparison is moot, we may have picked Scharenberg & Freeman a massive loss or we may have picked Bontompelli & Cripps massive win. We will never know. I think both clubs would be happy, particularly not picking Scharenberg, Freeman or Aish.
  16. Speak for yourself Art, I prefer repository. See Tony haaay Abbot at 34 seconds.
  17. And the young so much to learn.
  18. It's not the size of the dog in the fight. Who would you rather run into you?
  19. Beeb I am a pragmatist. My answer was, 'It has not happened but Jobe Watson is reported to have returned his ill gotten Brownlow.'
  20. I had a trivia question on the weekend. Name the AFL player that returned their Brownlow? I answered that it has not happened, he still has it. People don't get it, The cheat should be banned from the AFL until he returns his ill gotten gains. He is a drug cheat not a hero.
  21. I have had three emails from the club to date about this app, the most recent from Katie Duncan Membership Officer, she claims that they do not ask for the permissions I mentioned. I have copied them and sent it back. Not good enough MFC. They do not need my call details.
  22. Thanks AW, that does go some way to explain some of the points but why do they need all my call information? We seem to blindly give permission to unknown organisations then wonder why we later get hacked. I have private (semi) info on my phone.
  23. I think you underestimate what they can do with all that info. Why do they want all of my call information?
  24. 167 if they don't need it don't ask for it! They want all my contacts, all my photos, all my calendar details, all my call details. NO from me. Edit:- I have no doubt that government agencies can have all that information, but I hope that they have more integrity than some app developer selling apps to footy clubs.
