OD I always view it as a donation to the club. If we start to win more regularly I am sure others will be happy to donate. Every season I check if my friends have paid for the MCC/MFC membership, if they have not I chide them weekly until they have paid for MFC membership. (One to go)

Interesting point. We know that players have been nominated multiple times, could you be nominated every week?

C & B as a MCC member there is no need to pay for MFC membership. I do and most of my MCC-MelbourneFC supporting mates do as well. One of my sons the Melbourne supporter does not. ( He is o/s this year) The Richmond supporter (who cares) does not pay for RFC membership. I would be surprised if an extra couple of thousand MCC members could not be persuaded to become MCC/MFC members.
