WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
If we give them anything better than pick 27 I will spew.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
The footy department must have had a worst case scenario. To not factor that in would be very amateurish. I think they were too hasty and Goodwin has to take responsibility for that. If we got him for a later pick ok, but to give up a second round pick and not have him in the system for a year is very poor. Although at least we didn't give up what the Saints did.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
So an upgrade on Matt Jones. Well no disrespect to Matt, but we need a whole lot better than that. We lose on the trade scenario. So the computer says no.

We went after Riley who was NQR etc, we have to stop getting stop gap players. I want us to go for quality or go for youth in the draft. I especially don't want us to trade with Essendon they are notoriously unrealistic and want overs.

Not convinced. Hope if they do resign him give him a year not 2 or 3. Otherwise more potential deadwood.

No way trade McDonald.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Jedcock isn't good enough 4 Lions, but let's take him. No more NQRs or those at the end of their prime I'm sick of us been seen as a retirement home.

I cringed when I first heard we were keen 2 get Dawes, just like years ago when we traded pick 20 for Ben Holland.

The longer the delay the more likely that one or both are goneski especially if Howe was offered big money from GWS. Shame about Howe is that he is one of the few on our list who the kids like to follow.

I thought this year with Clark gone Fitzy would become a fixture. But he hasn't still could though. Don't like his high ball drop when kicking for goal, but he has that rare asset for a big man speed. He can pinch hit in the ruck. As much as Pedersen has improved I still prefer Fitzy over him as Ped at times seems disinterested tired or lazy.

If we were to get access to the first pick/priority pick I'd be very annoyed if we traded our chance to get Wright for a later pick and player. I still am annoyed we traded pick 2 Josh Kelly who has a lot of the qualities we need but have in short supply such as awareness, poise, elite kicking skills, time and a footy brain. - The 2014 AFL National Draft
