  1. This is such an underrated comment. Despite all the rumors and innuendo, the bloke created an atmosphere that made a young, shy indigenous kid flourish and want to stay in. Cannot thank Goody enough for delivering that and a flag, which for most of my life was all I wanted to see. I saw it and am so grateful
  2. Why such a short episode?
  3. This a new podcast from the boys?
  4. Calling them the Daicii is high end hilarious 👏
  5. Clearly we were knackered for whatever reason. Blind Freddy could see we were running in concrete. Yet, once again, so many come out of the woodwork with definitive statement about our (lack of) worth and abilities, when over the last seven or eight weeks we have clearly been up for it. I maintain, as I have for years, that most of our supporters still don't know what following a decent football team looks like over continual seasons. So many are constantly hankering for the self-validation that we are still rubbish, which is clearly their zone of comfort. In other words: settle, petals. Enjoy the ride, with all the ups and downs. We likely aren't going to fall into the doldrums again. Chill, Winstons. If you haven't had the presence of mind to simply enjoy the ride we're on over the past few years, that's on you. "Boo-hoo, I didn't see a flag at the G, woe is me." Zero respect for the WA based fans who got to see it. I remain so happy for them and for me, who had the best month of my life on the other side of the planet from my beloved MCG. We are clearly no longer a rabble and that is good enough for me. All I wanted for years was to see a flag, and I did, and I appreciated the [censored] out of it. Everything else is a bonus. And there will be much else. Semi-drunken rant from the bowels of an 18th century Bishops' palace in Würzburg over.
  6. It's almost like things are never as bad nor good as they seem
  7. I'm a tour leader on a ship going through Germany that was involved in a collision last night, leaving me to deal with 150 old Americans with questions, complaints and a full program to rearrange. Only got to watch the last qtr and it was more painful than any of that.
  8. Won a B&F last year so, yea, pretty good
  9. Or save that for Maynard
  10. Bed time matey
  11. Im gonna say it now. Tracc will probably become captain after Max, but I reckon Clarrie would thrive in the position. Hope they at least make him VC
  12. Nah sack Goodwin
  13. It's amazing that after the endless stream of proven bad calls and comments you've made over years, that there's never been a hint of self regulation or reflection. Take a step back for once and enjoy the win
  14. Didnt capitalise... except for that time we won a premiership
  15. He is my favourite and most loved of this generation (maybe equalled by Max), has always been an honest player. I have loved him as a footballer ever since he stumped Jordan Lewis on the wing in that famous win against the Hawks. For me that was THE moment of THE game where the tide turned for our footy club. An epoch defining moment. I also love how he somehow time travelled to sit for a portrait by Vincent van Gogh, as seen in my avatar pic. Thank you for all you do for the club, including giving us a connection to our players.
  16. Langford's been good. How can our skills be so bad?
  17. Thanks for all your work Andy and Nasher! Good luck and see you all on the other side
  18. I don't react to replies about my reading
  19. PJ apprentice Josh Mahoney back please
  20. Deleted because why bother
  21. Welfare check on @binman?
