  1. Split up into positions now. Mids doing 6 on 6 boundary throw in simulation. Most backs praciticing punching a long kick in across the line. Garlo, frost, Salem and oscar doing some constested marking work.
  2. Lewis looking good, in the full ground activity there wasn't much movement upfield and he waited before pinpointing a 40m pass to the middle. Harmes also looking sharp.
  3. Will be a gun but was horrendous yesterday with his disposal. There was a point in the game when viney (i think) earnt a free kick in the centre and gus had the ball with play stopped about 15 metres away from him. He went to kick the ball to viney and even missed that. Typified his day.
  4. Surprised that no one has mentioned hodge yet, he and Mitchell are the biggest dogs in the afl. Stringer is doing well considering his age, boomer and firrito are longtime twats.
  5. Jack was immense yesterday. Loved how he backed himself on the wing in the first quarter, but by far my favourite part of the day (aside from winning) was his mark/goal/celebration in the 4th. He was seriously fired up after he converted - the casual, lackluster, high five was replaced by screaming and sprinting, forcing his energy into teammates and ultimately kickstarting a 4th quarter comeback. I've never seen him so pumped in his entire career - love it.
  6. I've got this foreign and exciting feeling. I'm confident all will sign...
  7. Just listened to Roos of SEN this morning - it doesn't sounds like that'll be happening. His words were - "it'll be back to business as usual now".
  8. I think he'll be back before 4 weeks. As jones said - he's an absolute professional in the way he goes about it - so no doubt he'll be diligent in rehab.
  9. I bloody hope he's not. Let the kid focus on himself and don't place any unnecessary pressure on him. He hasn't played a game in almost 2 years. If - and that's a huge if - he gets back on the park this year he will lead in his own way; he doesn't need a title.
  10. Bang on. It's great that there are no lofty or unrealistic expectations of oliver or the weed in their first year. I'm happy for them to sit at Casey for 3/4 of the year developing their trade. The excitement for me is with guys like kent, frost, gawn and petracca. Trenners will be a bonus but bloody hell I'd love to see him out there. He must be absolutely stoked with life right now - hopefully his body holds up and he has a great career.
  11. it would also mount a case for hawks - or any destination/powerhouse club - to poach him on massive dollars too.
  12. Dunn is one of our best one on one defenders and leads/organizes our back line. I'd prefer to see his big beautiful boot there than forward. Frosty will be fine as a forward, we've all only seen a few games of him in that position and while he didn't set the world on fire he has the speed and skills to develop into a good lead up forward. Have some faith in Roos, he wants him there for a reason.
  13. I think ideally frost will play the forward/ruck role.
  14. B: Garland Dunn Jetta HB: Salem McDonald Lumumba C: Watts Tyson Vince HF: Kent Frost Vandenberg F: Garlett Hogan Kennedy R: Gawn Jones Viney Int: Brayshaw Bugg Petracca Grimes Emg: JKH Harmes ANB
  15. " It's believed the AFL will initiate a process allowing the Bombers to field top-up players from state leagues, as occurred during the 2015 NAB Challenge when the Dons used 13 such players to cover for those who elected to take provisional suspensions prior to the AFL tribunal hearing. " - theage - I wonder if this means the other clubs who have been affected by the bombers wrongdoing, such as us, will be able to recruit top up players also. Or whether they just go on the long term injury list and a rookie gets upgraded... You never know, it could be the catalyst which finally gets michie on the right track.
  16. Wright and McCartin have played for one season and you're already criticizing them? How long did it take tomahawk to find his feet at AFL level? The way hogan came onto the scene this year and dominated is an absolute rarity.
  17. Regardless of who is behind it (club/player) it's a great way of engaging the supporters
  18. Not even close. GC would scoff at that.
  19. Highlights of 2013 - hopefully the form he can return to. I doubt he will ever be an elite midfielder, I'm just hoping he can bring some aggression/passion and consistently be in our best 22 for the next four years.
  20. He can opt to go to the draft or adelaide can trade. The restricted part means that the club can match the offer, if he were unrestricted they wouldn't be able to.
  21. Yeah can someone elaborate on the type of player he is. I know he's played in the backline and the midfield and has been good at tagging at times but I haven't seem enough of him to really appreciate what he would be worth.
  22. I don't understand this mentality - the club would not be so stupid as to offer this kind of contract to danger without having enough to keep hogan when his contract comes up. We have the $$ to have both.
  23. crows are being realistic about the shots at keeping danger. they dangled the captaincy in front of tex back in november to get him to resign and he took the bait.
  24. 2004 draft: pick 1 - deledio pick 4 - tambling 2005 draft: pick 2 - dale thomas pick 5 - scott pendlebury
