HOMESICKNESS TURNS FROM PURPLE TO BLUE The former Docker who returned here after injuries and homesickness restricted his stint in the West. Balic made a stellar return to his home state with six goals in Round 1 for Casey and showed promise for the future but he found that he had lost the passion and retired before the end of the season. It was a sad end to a career that promised so much before he was injured late in the TAC Cup season before he was drafted.
