I've found a fix to this.

I'll look into it but when you click on a thread doesn't it go to the first unread post eliminating the need to find your place in a thread?

I've been corresponding with a guy who customises the software and he couldn't find a way to do it and he tried so I'm afraid the answer for the time being is no it can't be done.

Unfortunately this kind of mod is way out of my expertise level. I agree with you though. I'll look into it but I wouldn't hold your breath.

There are currently no plans for this. We offer the mobile skin and removal of ads as an enticement to take out a subscription. The money from subscriptions pay for all the costs associated with running, hosting and maintaining the site.

I'll be doing that in the new year.

I have merged all Trade/Draft topics into the main board and deleted the forum. I It will return at 2013 season's end. Start thinking of a clever name for the board now.

I think that I read somewhere on the message board software site forum that there was a bug re: notifications in the mobile skin. I will check it out but if there is it will likely be fixed in a future software update.

Done. Scoll to the bottom of the page on the Mobile Skin. This was the best I could do.

What phone are you using? At the bottom left hand side of the page there is a link that says "Use Mobile Version". Click that and you should be seeing the mobile skin.

Good question. I only have iPhone so I have no idea how it works on Android. I think HT has an android.

I have had many posters over the past few months offer to do the Demonland Banner. I must admit that I like the current banner but I am open to what others can do with it as my skills probably pail in comparison to some other more skilled designers. So I am going to open it up to you budding designers out there to have a go. As as prize for the winner I am going to offer $100 and a Demonland Life Membership Subscription (If the winner has Life Membership then I will offer another $50). Here is the psd file of the blank banner that you can use as a template. It has the "Demonland Logo" which you may or may no choose to use. http://www.demonland.com/Logo 2013.psd The banner must include the name Demonland and must be faithful to the colours used in the site. I will also stipulate that if I'm not happy with any of the designs then I might stick with what we have. Also if I choose a winner I reserve the right to tweak it in the future if it is needed (players departing etc) so I will need the psd or png file so that I have access to the layers. A few posters have been asking me lately if there is a mobile version of the site. The short answer is yes there is. The long version is you need to take out a Demonland subscription in order to access it. You can take out a Demonland Subscription here: http://demonland.com/forums/index.php?/subscriptions/ A Demonland Annual Subscription is $20 and you get a 1 year subscription to Demonland.com without advertisements which also includes access to the Mobile Skin for Smartphones. A Demonland Lifetime Subscription is $50 and you get a Lifetime subscription to Demonland.com without advertisements which also includes access to the Mobile Skin for Smartphones. The mobile skin looks like this on your smartphone: It's easier to read on a smartphone than the full site so if you do the majority of your reading of Demonland on your phone then the mobile skin is great. The software does of course recognise the device you are using so if you have a subscription but are viewing on your PC or iPad then it will display the full site. If you are viewing on your iPhone then it will display the mobile skin. If you are viewing the mobile skin on your phone and you want to view the full site there is a convenient button at the bottom and top of the page that allows you to switch back to the full site. Also, in addition to access to the mobile skin the subscriptions remove the advertising on the site to give you a better viewing experience of the site. I need a couple of images designed for me. I made 2 logos for Subscriptions and Donations that I'm not happy with. If someone with good image design skills could come up with something better I would be happy to pay $50 or a lifetime membership with Demonland if you do not already have it. Please keep in mind the colour scheme of the site and the general overall look and feel of the site. Also keep in mind the size of the images. I'm on my phone at the moment so I don't have the sizes handy but they should be about the same size and perhaps also one each double the length bit same height. Any questions then let me know.
