Well obviously not now that he's not coming to us.

Just sent a text to a Saints mate and he said he'd be absolutely filthy if the Saints let him go.
  3. I'd be touted as a number 1 Draft pick based on my 17 seconds of highlights.
  4. Former Demons' CEO Peter Jackson will be our very special guest on the next Demonland Podcast on Wednesday 17th October @ 8:30pm. Let us know if you have a question for Peter. We'll also be doing a wrap up of Trade Week if we ever get around to doing any trades.
  5. I just want him to stay so I don't have to update the banner or podcast logo.
  6. Can we please dispense with reacting to comments you don't agree with by calling the poster an idiot or similar.
  7. I did give both of the choices for us to get used to. We either accept that Freo aren't going to sell the farm for Hogan or we keep Hogan and go through another year of speculation and then possibly lose him for less next year.
  8. I just cannot see us getting this despite us all wanting this. Freo will not give us this particularly with Lobb in their sights. If we don't budge on this point then I think Freo will take their chances next year going head to head with the Eagles. We're going to have to get used to either taking a first rounder and a player/later pick or Jesse staying for the year and then leaving us next year when we'll get less.
  9. That's not correct. Channel 7 only reported that Freo had missed out on Jesse. I have no idea where that CH 7 got that story. No mention of failed medicals. The Facebook page above reported on the CH 7 report an added in their own commentary about the failed medical without saying it was their own opinion leading people to falsely believe that CH 7 had also reported that. Those two "stories:" merged into a single narrative that spread without any corroboration.
  10. Sadly it's par for the course these days with the 24 hour media cycle and everyone wanting to be the first to report it. There is no such thing as verification anymore.
  11. I believe the failed medical/mental issues were a result of this Facebook page reporting it last night as fact. They have since deleted the original post and posted this explanation.

  13. MAX THE MAGNIFICENT The 26-year-old regained the mantle of the competition’s premier ruckman when he won All-Australian honours for the second time in three years. He also won the AFL Coaches’ Association Champion Player of the Year Award and the Melbourne Football Club’s Keith ‘Bluey’ Truscott Memorial Trophy. His season’s tally of 1,119 is the AFL record for hit outs. Week in, week out, Maxy was instrumental in his team’s dominance of clearances at the stoppages that took it all the way to the Preliminary Final Round. Date of Birth: 30 December, 1991 Height: 208cm Weight: 111kg Games MFC 2018: 25 Career Total: 99 Goals MFC 2018: 13 Career Total: 51 Votes 2018 Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Memorial Trophy: 657 votes (Winner)
  14. IRON DOM Tyson had a mixed season and found himself out of the main midfield set up and, on one or two occasions, out of the senior team. He put in some excellent displays on a wing in the lead up to the finals and overcame a fractured forearm in the final round to play in all three of the club’s finals. Looks to be bound for another club in the trades as early as today. Date of Birth: 8 June, 1993 Height: 186cm Weight: 85kg Games MFC 2018: 17 Career Total: 107 Goals MFC 2018: 2 Career Total: 44 CDFC Games 2018: 5 CDFC Goals 2018: 2 Votes 2018 Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Memorial Trophy: 125 votes
  15. CLARRIE The 21-year-old Oliver finished second in the Keith ‘Bluey’ Truscott Memorial Trophy and though that was one rung below his 2017 placing, Oliver was no less prolific amassing 734 disposals (with a season high 40 in the Round 18 loss to Geelong) and also earning the number one ranking in the AFL for contested possessions (405). Oliver also received All Australian honours for the first time. It’s hard to believe that the youngster has played only 60 games. Date of Birth: 22 July, 1997 Height: 187cm Weight: 83kg Games MFC 2018: 25 Career Total: 60 Goals MFC 2018: 12 Career Total: 22 Votes 2018 Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Memorial Trophy: 595 votes (Runner up)
  16. Should I merge the profiles of people with multiple accounts?
  17. Just posted on Instagram stories.
  18. Agreed but I don't think we'll hear anything about Jesse prior to a deal in case the deal falls over. A bit of face saving for all involved.
  19. I'm pretty sure this is close to the truth. I doubt we will publicly hear anything in regards to Hogan's intentions until a deal is struck for Neale and perhaps even until something is official between Melbourne and Freo.
  20. I was kidding.
  21. I'm a big advocate for the bronze medal match played as a curtain raiser before the Granny.
  22. It was clearly 3 suits but to be fair after having a think about it he probably stayed in Melbourne for the week and might have had other functions to attend in Grand Final week. Can't wear the same suit twice or thrice now can he?
