Let's all calm down, stop playing the man and antagonising others. We have a common enemy here. Let's focus on the colour purple.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
I think you need to direct your queries to the following link: http://www.fremantlefc.com.au/club/contact-us- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
A lot of highlights, interviews with families and other boring stuff.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
Probably waiting to see if it can be bundled into any May deal. If that falls over I expect it will be done at the end of trade week. My reasoning for this is that it originally was assumed that this would happen at the beginning of proceedings.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
I believe it is.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
I have no inside information but I guarantee you this is the number one thing holding up the trade. Freo were low balling us on Jesse in the hope that they didn't have to get the Neale trade done to land Jesse.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
I agree. I've let it slide over the weekend when there was nothing happening and granted there still isn't anything happening but if you would like to continue talking biscuits then please take it to the general forum.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY

Damien Barrett mentioned it when he and Wallace were ranting about the Freo and Bell Amateur Show. He interrupted the show and said something to the effect of "we've just been told that Melbourne would have taken 5 & 23 and not the 2 first rounders. Not 100% sure there is a direct quote but the way they put it it was as if it had come from the club.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Didn't we come out and say we would have taken 5 & 23 had Freo not pulled the pin on Friday? If Negotiations resume I can't see us now demanding 5 & 14 (as much as us supporters would love that). I'm not sure it was a smart idea for us to make that 5&23 claim in response to Bell's public tantrum. We probably did it to look like the sane and reasonable ones but it now might have damaged our position by showing our hand.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
I hope esprit de corps means no man buns.- Farewell Jesse Hogan

If he's leaving then I would love for this to happen as long as we land May and a pick around the same as we would have got from Freo.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
And I don't think there would be any ill feelings from the club or the boys. The Dees and us just want fair compensation so we can improve our list. I'm positive that Freo still want him, warts and all. They just want their cake and to eat it too. The Weller deal last year has them thinking that you can always get away with murder at the trade table.- 2018 Player Reviews: # 1 Jesse Hogan
You can discuss the Jesse Hogan Trade here:- Farewell Jesse Hogan
This isn't about them not wanting Jesse all of a sudden. It's about getting something for nothing. I wish we could go dodgy eBay seller on them and give them their win by accepting the second rounders but then send them one of those blow up Jesse dolls and then not return their emails.- 2018 Player Reviews: # 1 Jesse Hogan
In view of the fact that we have other avenues for discussion on Jesse Hogan, this thread will be locked for the time being. We will open it when his status has been resolved allowing for a discussion of his contribution in 2018 and of his future beyond the trade period.- 2018 Player Reviews: # 1 Jesse Hogan
HELLO, GOODBYE? Jesse Hogan passed the 40 goal mark for the third time in his career and despite suffering a foot injury in round 21 against Sydney, he finished with a personal best of 47 goals for the season. That performance is all the better when one takes into account the fact that he was often played for brief periods further down the ground and even in the midfield. Hogan has been pursued for years by Fremantle but the Dockers put in a low bid for him and when that was knocked back they announced they had withdrawn their interest.
