While I'm not normally a "dobber", the moderator logs suggest that the person who deleted the thread is the person who founded, owns and funds the site.

Oh, what? so he took his footy & went home, hey!!!!!!!!!

Its 1 February today not 1 April.

Its worrying that people would take the bait and welcome back such a divisive and self serving individual with a dubious corporate record (no matter how much he bank rolls the club).

"dubious corporate record" What do you mean?

Well I for one would like Joe back at MFC as it might get the club out of the 1950s. How long is it since you have seen a committee member at a game mixing with the normal members.

Do they even know where the chear squad is? As a club we badly need an image, we need to project ourselves to the general public to get more supporters, not just MCC crossover members.

Its our 150 year and up to now how much have you heard in the media, ZIP.

Oh we will have some corporate or toffy events midyear but what good will it do us NOW to drag in new members.

JOE FOR PM!!!!!!!!!!

Could one of the moderators do me a favour and lock this thread. The old Joe debate has been done to death, and is tediously boring.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
