Sylvia: HFF or Midfield?

Featured Replies

you cant help but have the impression that its more a 'head' issue with Col than pure injuries.

Is a lot easier to shine in the kiddies than the real game !!

I have a sneaking suspiscion we will see a few "new ' players this year. that is..they look like people we know.. just 'act' differently!! lol :)

Col only has to look over his shoulder and he'll see half a dozen champing at the bit !! either he steps up or he'll be stepping out !!

Will be interesting to see how Bails some of thse boys though. Col..and not alone, often seemed constrained out of position in the ND era.

needs a good whack around the ears and a sit down talk about how things "really are" This is his litmus year me thinks.

agreed, plonk his arse on trade table if he cant deliver this year

Needs to play like Ricciuto did when he was 24, 25, 26 as an attacking no-holds barred mildfielder.

If you log on to youtube there is a highlight paclake of the game this season when we beat Collingwood and there is footage of Sylvia chasing the pill to boundary with a Collingwood player right him. Sylvs takes the ball and the player behind him tackles him immediatley and you think he's gone but Col just shrugs him of instantly, turns and moves it forward, not unlike a certain Lethal Leigh Matthews

that was AWESOME! need to see more of that. Threw him off like a piece of paper.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
