Carlton blatantly tanks... again

Should be removed from the league

An absolute disgrace of a club

Just watched the game on Foxtel.........they were NOT tanking!

fev was , 0 goals

Fev was the worst player in their side. He was not good enough to be called pathetic. At the break he was looking into the stands instead of at the coach. He argued with the umpire while the ball was in play near him.

Incidently the playing of a second gamer on Lloyd all day was probably the most significant aspect in the loss and if you believed in tanking, that is some proof that it is done outside the arena not inside it. Players are like horses they try to win, it is inbred. They can't of course control their jockeys or coaches.

That said, surely there must be a contradiction between your message and your signature line "BRETT RATTEN - THE ONLY MAN TO LEAD THE DEMONS FORWARD".

BTW according to Ratten on 10 News Fevola's season is over - a groin injury.

No way. No tanking here. Sheedy once again proved that he is still up to it. Some brilliant moves, especially Lucas onto Whitnall in the second half, and his decision to bring more run into the side and drop the one paced Watson and Peverill was a masterstroke. Carlton tried their guts out, but Ratten was outcoached in the end by the old fox. Can't wait to have him with us next year!

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
