Game Day - Port Adelaide v Melbourne

Featured Replies

McLean on the wing with 0 touches, Jones 1 touch, Neitz and Robbo zero! Newton on the bench, Junior maybe 1, Bruce with 1.

Dismal... Riley won't get a job enxt year. Not that I'm blaming him.

not blaming him but he will NOT get the job next year

As quick as Port are they cannot be given ANY space, anywhere. And only 6 Demons had more than a couple of kicks for the quarter. Dismal again.

Disgraceful performance by the umpires and melbourne. Riley you have holland in the ruck, dunn and garland not playing. WE NEED P. JOHNSON!

Riley i hope you are not there next year

the umpires are an absolute disgrace

Bar the early one where robbo was landed on the umpiring has been ok.

Chad cornes with 3, glad ive got him in my dream team, makes it hurt a little less.

Why did I change from Chad to Kane for the DT captain this week?

Surely Jones can at least get a rising star nomination. If he doesn't then KB is more of a twit than I thought :)

Robbo marks..........

Robbo steadies.........

Robbo comes in........

Robbo GOALSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs

he set up this team, thats why

We are a disgrace.....

Spot on, the umps could give us 20 more free's in this game and we would still lose.

i need all the points i can get with franklin not playing:(

SEN about Newton after giving away the free: "And there were question marks about his talent for the last 2 years?"

He just took mark of the year last week and now gives away a free and is a total dud ey?

Amateur radio.

Port is making some [censored]-ups now which is keeping us in it.

Miller is our spare defender!!!! :o

i think he has had 2 touches? both in the first quarter.

Sylvia, Bate, Newton and Jones are all getting some touches which is good.

Bates disposal has been quite bad though, rest have been good. White and wheatley not too bad either.

No sight of any others.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
