At the end of the day this is a very rough and decidedly unfair way to finish what was a truly stellar playing career, despite all the rhetoric about loathing him for playing for the Pies and his arrogance etc. I just hope that he doesn't push it too much further, given I think that there is a time, no matter how hard it is,

to pull the pin as gracefully as possible. And unfortunately for Nathan Buckley that time would seem to be now.

He's on the list for the rest of the year. If I was him I'd try and get it right for finals - it's a pretty even year and while I don't really rate the Pies, anything could happen.
