Well it's happened again. We've had another team lose to Canada today. Our Womens 3x3 Basketball team got done 14-22. Couldn't buy a shot in the early stages of the game and the end margin probably flattered them.

Not sure what's with all the loses to Canada today???

Disaster for our Rugby 7's girls with a loss in the Bronze Medal match to USA. They just didn't play well today compared to the previous two days. Gold medallists in Rio, to failing to win a medal at the next two games.

Gold for Kaylee McKeown as she defends her 100m Backstroke title. She motored home in the last 25 meters!

Bad evening for our teams overnight with the Kookaburras coming back to earth with a thud, beaten 2-6 by Belgium. Sharks kicked the day off for us with a stunning win, but all our teams lost for the day after that.

Thank goodness Kaylee McKeown ended the day off brilliantly for us!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
