I'd drop Langdon and play Windsor definately!

I think Langdon deserves a senior game, but if we were to lose and\or Langdon performs poorly then Windsor has to be seriously considered.

If Kynan can kick goals and play like he did last week if he does that and Kade does not get involved then he deserves a half forward role in the opening zero game in Sydney.

If Fullerton doesn't play against Carlton which I think he's a chance to play as is B. Brown then K. Brown takes the last spot on the bench with Fritsch going to full forward and Chandler to the pocket.

We wouldn’t have both BBB and Fullarton I would think. The ball would be coming out of our attack in record pace. K. brown should be in the 23 if he goes well vs Blues.

Would not like to see T McDonald as our CHB, Hore can be the 3rd tall down back which leaves Lever actually playing a defensive role. Salem might need a week in the VFL to get himself match fit.

Considering Sydney will have 3 talls up forward it will be no surprise if Tomlinson gets the nod ahead of Hore and T McDonald

B: Hore>Haywood, May>Amartey, McVee>Papley

HB: Bowey>Florent, Lever>McDonald, Rivers>Heeney

C: Hunter, Sparrow, Langdon

HF: Chandler, van Rooyen, Neal-Bullen

F: Fritsch, Fullerton, Billings

FOLL: Gawn, Petracca, Viney

IC: Woewodin, Oliver, Brayshaw, Spargo

SUB: Tomlinson

EMERG: K. Brown, Windsor, Laurie

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
