Bit concerned with Petty. He rocked up to training in the white Jumper indicating  he was in one of the teams (Blue vs White jumpers). He had boots in hand but then didn’t train. Another uneducated guess but I get the feeling he was intending to train but then had a niggle or awareness and didn’t train. He didn’t do any running like the other rehabbers and just watched on the sidelines. He just walked back to the rooms with a trainer and whilst wasn’t exactly limping his walking did look hampered. Watch this space.

He’s just being given the kitted gloves treatment mate, I think he’ll be right. The amount of injuries in his history is concerning, but I think he’s due a good run — however — if he goes down with any other foot inj, I’d be with you & thinking the crows can give us 2 top 20 picks for him!

Looks from the photo like Clarrie has put on about a meter in height - maybe he will be in tandem with Max.  😀😀🤔

What is happening with Smith? When is his case decided, if at all?  When could he be back?  Seems to have gone very quiet unless I missed something.

I have said before - justice delayed is justice denied (unless there has been a non publicised hearing and penalty already).

Q for track watchers -  could sit be at least that some of that those "in rehab" or "light duties" are just having their loads managed scientifically?

I found this (doubtless well-known to many') but what you said looks very true.  Delay is particular bad for a player

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
