What They Are Saying at Springfield

You’re right about that, THBT. Their cheer squad members are certainly proud and loyal. Their banner crew is full of super nice people. I chat in the race with opposition crews, almost all of whom are friendly. The Brisbane crew comprises diehard Fitzroy fans and/or the children of Fitzroy fans. There’s definitely a different vibe from the GCS and GWS ppl.

Who's the least nice cheer squad? 😜

They can’t win at the G. 14 losses in last 15 attempts. Can’t even beat hawthorn. They have a 1000 pound gorilla on their back and until they actually win a game there I doubt too many people will have them as favourites.

For  a team third on the ladder and a genuine contender last year, that is a huge and worrying voodoo.

And didn't we add to it beautifully.

Will surely come into play come finals time. Top stuff.

I'll tell you what, it's the chirpiest and most hostile the AFL Members has been at a Melbourne game for a looooong time. Maybe because it was a Friday night. But lots of words were exchanged in standing room the whole night. Lions supporters giving us absolute [censored] with 10 minutes left. I proceded to absolutely lose my [censored] when Viney kicked that goal. You could smell the win at that point. Actually saw a Lions supporter standing in disbelief at the final siren. We've been there. The St Kilda game at Marvel in I think 2015 comes to mind when the Saints kicked the winner with seconds left after it looked like we were certainties. But it was amazing how quickly it changed. Good on the Lions supprters for bringing such amazing support, the old Fitzroy supporters sure can be loud. But I really gave it to them at the end after coping it all game.

This is just my opinion but the Carlton banner crew aren’t exactly warm and friendly.
