possible late withdrawals

Featured Replies

Moloney and Johnstone may be late withdrawals. There has been changes to Sandy 1's team apparently.

I really hope not

I dunno if it will be that wet, not much rain to come ( http://mirror.bom.gov.au/products/IDR022.loop.shtml ) and the 'G drains very well.

I'm pretty sure moloney wont play, you cant risk him. If we were 2-1 or even 1-2, he wouldn't have even been named IMO.

as for TJ, i think you have to play him, unless sylvia is fully right to go. put him as a forward, and hope to get a few goals out of him. it is just bruising, i suspect they'll inject, because unlike moloney the capacity to do more damage by playing will be much less.

I think it would be best to rest beamer regardless of the weather. He is not right.

Trapper should play.

I hope it buckets down with rain, less chance of us losing by 70 points!

Currently the skies are clearing up in Bayside, let's hope the trend continues.

Moloney will most definitely not play. I'm not sure why they named him to begin with.

At least we have some exciting emergencies. Who knows, this could be Sylvia's or Petterd's day.

I have it on good authority that Sylvia is playing today. Not sure who he is replacing though.

Johnstone is out.

Bate and Sylvia in...

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
