What an absolute pleasure to randomly scan this photo, & to my delight, see my long passed grandpa's photo.  He was a trainer for the under 19's.  Sincere thank you to Star of the 80's for sharing.  This has made my day.

Four members of our Team of the Century (Hardeman, Flower, Alves and Wells), in addition to Big Carl, Garry Baker, Ross Brewer and Ray Biffin.     Also noticed Marty Lyons name appearing. It's a shame we didn't get his son Jarryd.

    We did finish 6th on the ladder in 1976 and should have made the finals that season. We missed out because Footscray was able to draw with the top side Carlton in the last round after we had beaten Collingwood at Vic Park to give them their first ever wooden spoon. I attended that game as a 10 year old with my late Dad and my brother who was 8 at the time.
