Next week's practice match ...

Featured Replies

The news up north here is that if Brisbane had have lost last night, we'd be playing them at Carrara next Saturday night. Seeing they obviously didn't, does anyone know whether or not we are still coming up here for a NAB Challenge match?

It would be good for us Northerners to get a look at the boys early!

Skiled Stadium, it's mentioned in the review of last nights match on the Cats website.

Happy to go there. It's a narrow ground and will be a good test of how the players are adapting to the new style.

Good point.

Thankfully we don't have to play there this year though. That ground is evil!

we are unbeaten on our last two occasions there though ;)

Yes, but playing there means actually having to set foot in Geelong. That alone is grounds for disgust.

I'll back us to beat them at the G', besides Skilled is a meaningless ground as you never play finals there. It's a waste of time playing there if you ask me. The only ones who benefit are Geelong, therefore they should only play interstate clubs there.

To make Victorian fans have to travel to Geelong to watch a game of footy is idiotic, especially when the game is always a sell-out and we have two other perfectly good grounds available.

Beats Travelling.
