Yes AFL has told clubs to be prepared for constant changes to the schedule and to be prepared to spend multiple weeks away from home. My comment is not aimed at people on Demonland we are rusted on. But there is a substantial group of Dees supporters who wait to see how things are going early in the year before they buy a membership.

Presumed you meat the HUN !

i have a digital membership ( heard of that OD ???)  snd have read the Jon Ralph article with Gil featuring a bit ALSO the Ballot Membership  and ticketing Plus Covid crowd no's totals starting at 50%.
Have been there done that all last season in Qld as a member of their MCC lookalike the Gabba Trust plus some extra games as Gen admission at the Gabba including the Prelim Final Lions vs Cats with 75% crowd allowed. Also for  Test cricket in Jan.

Not one sentence in either if those articles contradicted my post ( in fact you didn't need to read the paper OD) and having adapted it's no problem. at all to follow These relatively simple procedures to ensure a healthy crowd at the game, to confirm with the tracing requirements should they be necessary.

Next question OD ??

No idea I just know from the past that early good form results in an up turn to membership numbers.  Is it possible you make a reply without a dig?

Without making a dig that would be the Case with all Clubs if they get away  to a flying start Naturally a hike in membership numbers.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
