We can’t ever lose him. “Except for Salem” is an important element of “we have no-one who can kick except for Salem”.

We had better get to and win some serious finals in the next two years as when this contract expires he is a Free Agent.  He will be quite a prize for another club getting him free.   He seems a loyal type but one never knows.

Have been a fan since before we recruited him and is my equal #1 favourite player alongside Hunt.  I know AFL is now a business but it is tough seeing favourite players go to other clubs.  Salem is one I really want to be a one club player.

Arguably in our top 5 players at the club now. If he continues to improve he might just be the guy we can't afford to ever lose.

We will need some serious cap space in a few years time to keep him with us.

I know many have long pined for Kelly after the Salem/Tyson deal, but Salem is a very special player in his own right and one we should be thankful is on our list.

Great to see his year so far.  Salem is tough and skilled.  If only we had another 2 more Salem’s going through the midfield and half fwd line
