new stickers

Featured Replies

I got my new membership sticker, wacked it on the car and within 2 weeks the red had faded the same as acouple of years ago, rang club and they sent out more, just hope these are different!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems to depend on which batch you get. Last year, the stickers on my car were fine, but, the ones on my daughters car faded almost immediately. They sent us all new ones, unsolicited. This year, both mine and my daughter's are pink already.

I am going to replace my set with my son's, he has a soft-top car and doesn't use them. If they are going to fade, they fade quickly, so I'll wait to see what happens with them before I contact the club.

This is funny

Same thing happens every year

:)

Printer probably didn't use non - fade inks. should always be specified.

Many years ago Australia Post (then the PMG) issued some stamps which were inadvertently printed using ordinary ink. They had to be withdrawn from sale but the few that got out are apparently worth a lot of money (need to be kept under wraps of course).

Somebody in membership is either not doing their job or Melbourne continue to pay a substandard supplier.

In either case it really isn't good enough, regardless of whether it is only stickers or not.

I was told once that red is the hardest colour on a sticker to keep the same when exposed to sunlight. As undeeniable said, it sometimes just depends on the batch.

My sticker's still in mint condition although the fact that it's still on my desk at the office might have something to do with that.

A least you guys have got your memebership stuff. I'm still waiting for mine
