Sorry guys been flat out.

11th is cool with me. Best not to conflict with any MFC or CFC functions.

That give enough time for TC to get a team together?

Lock it in for the 11th and lets see how we go.

count the chook factor, chooker and the weatherman all in if the game gets the go ahead. we all missed the last game due to other commitments but we are all fired up to represent demonland once more.

Guys,

Appears 11th is hard for us, most of our guys are doing other things, the St kilda festival is on apparently, I am keen, but its getting harder.

As much as I am keen I think we have to leave it until October.

I will scout once more today and Saturday and finalise an answer asap to make sure that if it is possible, it can be done - cheers

If the game's off, then I have a solution to the problem here.

The thing is that you blokes have your sights set too low.

I'm looking for about ten or so more blokes who are willing to volunteer to represent Australia to take on the England XI in the next Commonwealth Bank One Dayer. I'll be seeking special leave from the ACCB to field the side in order to give the series a bit of interest.

Anyone game to volunteer?

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
