Found this great link to a 60's Dees win over Collingwood featuring some glorious high marking by Greg Parke. As WJ has noted in a past write-up this game brought much hope for the Dees but we could not sustain the effort in future rounds. To think it was 49 years ago. .

Great footage, saw alot of Melbourne in the 70's onwards but not the 60's.I miss the footy and personalities of the past.

Played a game against Greg Parke in the Riddell League 1979

Was so worried about him using my back as a step ladder that I tried running thru him early in the game

Resulted in him kicking the first of many goals for the day

Lesson learnt don't shirt front your Heroes

Spelling mistake

His main problem was he was usually a poor kick for goal
