If the two/three year list management window allows it I would be very much in favour of offering Harvey a one year contract.

We are calling out for guidance from senior players.Love him or loathe him he is the top 100 players in the league.

Hard to see the downside unless it is a list management issue.

We need to boost the overall maturity of our players by getting games into them. Recruiting Harvey will stop this from happening and wont make a difference in the medium (and even short) to long term.

Becoming a better team and the sort of team we want to become, which is a competitive team over the long term, is not going to be assisted by recruiting a single mature player. The player age and amount of games played needs to be boosted as a whole over time, again not boosted by a single player.

Recruiting Harvey would be the stupidest thing the club would have done in the last three years if it did happen.
