If our workrate is up we will win. Win the Uncontested possies and I think that will be mirrored on the scoreboard.

I miss the mcg. Stuck here in wollongong (not a bad spot) I miss catching the train to the g with my kids to the game. Gettiing on at Elsternwick station with a train always 15 mins late. The nervous expectations. The banter amongst fans. The shelling out of my money on expensive junk food. The roar of the crowd. The wiity comments. The not so witty comments from the other mob. The fingernail biting. The heartbreak. The dispair on the train home. Its all good. What a game.

I agree. Brings back fond memories. Playing the old enemy has always been a highlight of the year. Being stuck in Bangkok I miss the same things. I usually watch it via a computer link but today I might find a pub to watch it. I just hope that there aren't too many  Wobble supporters there sometimes a few get through Thai immigration despite their best efforts at pest control.

Perhaps they should count teeth before letting them in and stop the boguns getting into Bangers.

Matchups

Matt Jones to play as a defensive forward on Penelebury if he plays off half back

Heritier on Howe -  run off lazy Jeremy at every opportunity

Bugg to tag Treloar -  knows his game from GWS days

Dunn on Cloke

Jetta on Fasolo

T Mac on Moore

Expecting

Nathan Brown to Hogan

Oxley to VIney

Goldsack to Watts

Greenwood to Nate Jones

Tyson and Sidebottom to go head to head

Ben Ken and Varcoe to go head to head

Goldsack a late omission, replaced by White. Maybe an opportunity for Jack to do some damage.?

I have to say i'm a bit gun shy backing the dees but good value i agree.

The real value might be over 39.5 at around $13. I think the pies are vulnerable to a big loss. They will come out breathing fire but that will suit us down to the ground as that's our go these days. Its one reaon why i had was reasonably confident going into last weeks game (ie the roos are a physical side and like hard footy)

Their problem is their system, offensively and defensively. They are struggling to put a score on the board and stopping the opposition scoring. 120 points to the saints last week is a huge worry for a defensively minded unit (usually).

If we get on top i suspect they might crumble.

As a rule i don't like to quote myself. But rules are meant to be broken. Its nice when a game plays out how you thought - particularly if that the preview involves predicting a dees win.

A great win by the boys and am so gals i went (snuck in the last quarter of the casey game too).

At one point the pies got a (lucky) centre clearance and i heard a pies fan yell 'finally a centre clearance!!!'. How things change. I've spent much of the last 10 years yelling much the same thing. Its brilliant that we are now winning more than our fair share of centre clearances.
